Not really; the announcements are usually announced during the opening ceremony, which is free to watch. You're paying for the panels which provide more insight with the dev teams for what was announced during the ceremony

Warcraft III Remaster with the World Editor being as intact as possible while updating it for updated visuals and resolutions. If a Remaster is to happen, the World Editor not getting ruined is the most important goal.

I apologize in advance for making an even sloppier and dirtier |OT| than last years thread. I know that some people really look forward to these threads every year, so here's hoping this is at least good enough to get some hype in.
It's one of my favorite things to look forward when Blizzcon is close. At least it used to be.

I think we'll get a D4 annoucement, for four reasons.
The necromancer would much too similar to the witch doctor.
Blizzard's D3 forum is much less active recently. The necromancer leak thread got barely over 100 replies in like 10 hours. Two years ago it would have been well over a thousand. It is clear that the playerbase is getting bored and is setting D3 aside. Blizzard probably saw that decline coming much sooner, and an expansion would only mean a few months of peak activity. The playerbase require something more fresh that just a class and an act to stay hooked for years.
Besides, it will be the twenty years anniversary. Showing off a mere expansion for such an occasion would be fairly lackluster.
And lastly, the competition in the H&S genre is much more intense than it was five years ago. We've had PoE and Grim Dawn who set the bar pretty high, and soon Lineage Eternal and Lost Ark who look very promising. Blizzard won't be able to maintain it's traditionnal domination of the genre if it keeps D3's graphic engine, core mechanics and stale set-based gameplay.

Yoshichan, you beautiful bastard! The Devil shall return in some form! I hope Diablo 4 for sure. I haven't really played Diablo 3 in awhile, but I just never found the same charm to it like I did with Diablo 2.

Probably safe to expect Sombra and a new map at minimum for Overwatch. For WoW maybe a 7.2 tease. Hearthstone new expansion. HotS next few heroes, maybe a new map or two. SC2 next co-op commander, maybe a teaser for the last set of Nova missions and release date. Diablo is what should have something bigger. Personally I'm about done with D3 though. Played multiple seasons, every class, plat on the PS4 version too. I'd be okay with a new expansion but much rather have a new game or remaster. The darkest timeline is they introduce the Necromancer as a microtransaction along with some patch content.
#1 on my wishlist is Brood War HD. There was a rumor out of Korea earlier this year but I still doubt it.

Okay, I'm going all in on Diablo 4 getting announced, but that it will be a relatively short reveal, and the rest of Blizzcon will focus on a wide variety of updates to Diablo 3 to help tide players over until it releases.

I guess the two prints could be Sombra and The Necromancer if they're for separate products.

This sombra shenanigans has completely flown past me. It's a hero and they dont want to announce it yet so they do some ARG type stuff. Aint nobody got time for that.
D4 however, I got all the time in the world for that. I seriously doubt it will happen but man do I love me some Diablo. Best blizzard franchise imho! (Not knocking the others, they're great too but Diablo is my wet fantasy).
