My hopes and dreams:

Diablo
Diablo 4 with offline play

That's never happening now, not with Blizzard today. No, if we do end up seeing an announcement for a D4, then you can bet that it will be online only, and most likely with some kind on integrated monetization scheme just like Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch have in right now. Something more regular and dependable than bi-yearly old fashioned expansions.

Really hyped for this but not expecting anything.

I want them to announce more dungeons for 7.3 and beyond, Mythic + is my favorite content in the game. Any single player or PvE content for other games would be welcome too.

Man, have to say i kind of dont know what they could announce with a Diablo 4 that would get me super excited again. I was mega hyped for Diablo 3. Huge Diablo 2 fan. I would blurt out DIABLOOOOOOOO at random and go into fits of nostalgia. And during launch week i enjoyed it a lot. Played a lot. It felt pretty much like Diablo to me. But after a month i was done. Then the expansion came out and i jumped back on board but spent less time with it after i completed it.

Now im not even that excited at the premise of a future game. Dont know why exactly.

You should start from the begining because Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 are two of the best action RPGs of all time and Diablo 3 is pretty great now too.

The atmosphere and music alone will sell you on D1 and D2.

I think D1 is pretty outdated by today's standards, but D2 and it's expansion is still an enjoyable game. But this is not a game about story and character development, so you could also start with D3 or wait till D4.

Diablo 4 on a brand new engine that handles massive amounts of mobs better as the game gets very choppy in MP on high torment. It won't happen but I'd like them to change the artstyle to be more gritty and dark as well. If it releases with everything D3 has now and more I'll be happy.
