The party's "solution" was to push for a Spanish-speaking Bush or a lazy "little" Rubio, instead of making messaging and platform changes. It was completely inept and Trump took advantage. Trump is now the leader of the party, whether he wins or not.

They have this impenetrable media advantage that allows millions of people to corroborate broken world views and policies outside of any kind of oversight.
 
I voted for Bernie as a symbolic thank you for his platform, ideas, and how he helped to reshaped the Democratic party.

There's a -100% chance of Trump winning my state so don't worry.

That was my one consolation if they had actually went and nominated Ted Cruz. He would have been blown out of the water so bad, it would have put the "what we really need is a true conservative" story to rest.

Voted for the first time here in Ohio by mail-in a couple of weeks ago. Hope the rest of America doesn't fuck it all up today
 
I kind of accidentally broke it to my mom that I'm voting for Clinton and she told me I'd be sorry when Hillary drafts me in to the military and gets me killed.

I guess I ought to start weight lifting to get ready or something. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
 
My polling place had a ton of signs outside for Democratic candidates and none at all for Republicans. I suppose they figured it's Chicago, so why bother.

Ok, wait a minute. Before jumping on the "it's totally illegal" train can you give me some more specifics? Like what state are you in? Did any of the poll workers in the polling location wear Trump badges? Are you sure the people outside the building wearing badges were actually poll workers or could they have been poll watchers? How far outside the building were they?

I'm not aware of any jurisdiction that allows poll workers inside the polling location to do any electioneering (including wearing a candidate's badge/sticker.) If that's what it was, report it. With this new information, I wonder if these were volunteer poll watchers from a campaign outside the electioneering line, which would not be illegal (although considering they were for Trump, I would check to make sure they were directing me to the correct polling location.)

There were no campaign signs at all where I voted. It was at a fire station so they might not play those kinds of games there.

Perhaps message me about Cincinnati. My wife and I are moving there soon and we're both incredibly nervous about it because we don't know the first thing about Cincinnati whatsoever.
 
Did my part and voted for Crooked Hillary. There was almost no line, so it only took about 20 minutes, which is awesome.

Sadly I live in Kansas, which is almost certainly Trumpland.
 
I voted this morning before work at my super conveniently located polling station right across the street from my apartment in Downtown Brooklyn (so about as Hillary country as you can possibly get). There are two different districts voting there, one of which had probably about 30 people in line, and one (mine) that had literally one person at the table ahead of me. So I was in and out in maybe 5 minutes, tops.

Voted straight D. I don't always vote straight party line (and I'm not a registered democrat, for that matter), but I feel like the Republicans well and truly earned it this time around.

Outside the building, less than 40ft definitely. Directing people which door they were to go into and building to go into. Virginia. I don't think anyone inside actually wore any badges to my knowledge.
