I said it before I'll say it again, Hillary is an utterly underwhelming candidate that doesn't inspire anything out many people other than voting for her to keep Trump out. I think this is really showing in these traditionally blue state numbers.

None of us know man....

We aren't there yet though...

Well, best case scenario is Trump will do nothing against climate change for 4 years.
That alone is devastating beyond comprehension.

Worst case scenario is he will reverse the baby steps we made over the past years and speed climate change up even more.

I think his foreign policy will be the least of our problems. Trump doesn't know much about that and will most likely just follow whatever the party wants to do, so business as usual republican foreign policy, which is atrocious.

He will do away with Obama care, which means millions of americans will lose their health insurance.

His tax plans are great for rich people and corporations, but will harm the middle class and poor people.

Its hard to predict what kind of effect he will have on race relations, LGBTQ rights and womens rights. I feel like his presidency alone will legitimize racism, sentiments against LGBTQ people and will reinforce the traditional gender roles.
Like how hatecrimes spikes in the UK after the Brexit vote, I think that would happen in the US, too, only worse.

A Trump victory would be a victory of ignorance, hate and anti-intellectualism. Never have these traits lead to anything positive.

Neither of the candidates deserved a vote imho...

When given the choice between a corrupt , lying, unpopular politician woman or a stupid but sometimes funny, vulgar "tv reality" character that channels racism, conspiracy theories, NRA gun pride and all that... I guess it's easyer to vote to the joke of a human being.

I mean , if you're a Republican already, I doubt Hilary had anything to offer to sway your vote away from your usual convictions. Likely, if you were a Democrat, chances are with all the Whitewater Scandals, Email Scandals, Ben Ghazi Scandals, Clinton Foundation Scandals, Lolita Express Scandals and so on, you didn't want or trusted Clinton anyway.

It's the democrat's fault though, they should have put a candidate that didn't reek of unpopularity, scandal and dishonesty.

I honestly have to wonder if the far left being so ultra aggressive in calling Republicans racists / sexists / etc. is having an effect here. There is a lot of ingrained voters that vote a certain way because their family votes that way and that's how they have been raised. They themselves may be more moderate but lean Republican due to societal / family pressures around them.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that Trump is a racist piece of crap and a lot of his followers are too, but I can't help but wonder if Dems should have been reaching across the isle more and saying hey, this time vote Democrat due to these reasons instead of instant name calling and instead went with a much more welcoming tactic instead of aggressive one.

Is this for real or just some shitty attempt at a joke post?

Welp, 538 flipped for Trump. Where's HillGaf at now? A few folks in particular are conspicuously absent from this thread.

I said in the primary - this was an anti-establishment year. It was obvious with Trump and Bernie. Nominating an establishment candidate was a mistake.

It's not over, but its looking grim.
