I don't see a problem with his cabinet...
Maybe you should realize that not everything is white and black. You do realize how utterly fucking subjective that statement is right? There are plenty of educated people that love Pence and the (supposed, not even confirmed) cabinet.

And your solution is to let Clinton go fucking nuts and attack Russia? That'll surely end well...

Also you changed Trump's name, how cute. Can you act any more irrational?

A guy who literally thinks Hillary would have attacked Russia is calling others gullible and irrational.

The irony is thick.

So here is an interesting thing. All throughout his campaign trump made up his own facts and everyone was on board and brought. Watch him make up his own presidency. Economy will be amazing even if it is tanking and i am willing to bet the repubs would be dumb enough to buy it. All he needs is a camera.

Of course he will. It's been done in the UK.

It's can still be applied and probably will through a Trump presidency:

Adam Curtis - Oh Dear.

My dad's rationalizing it as everything Trump was saying was just for publicity and using the media because he's a businessman and knows how to play the media. And now he's going to change because you can't act like that as the leader of the free world

Pivot is happening any day now...

And that Trump knows how to play the media. Boy, he said disgusting things in private knowing they would leak years later.

Is it chilling to anyone else that all of the GG'ers from last couple years (has it been that long) are the exact people who were most riled up about the idea of Hillary as President? She could have been the best candidate the country has ever seen, and I'm sure the bile would still have been just terrible from the most vocal opposition. Trump just gave them a powerful outlet to express this anger.

"Our" country still shirks from the idea of a woman POTUS. I firmly believe the Rust Belt would vote that way again nearly the same way regardless of the Dem candidate.

I'm not saying it's ok. I'm saying that the campaign is a joke. Paying million and millions of dollars to tour the nation rallying the troops and creating media frenzy. It's been a joke for years now. A reality TV star exposed that. He took it to the extreme but he still played by the rules.
Since there are no written rules for the campaign per se..fair enough.
Actually there are rules in society though, and he broke all of them? Nearly all of them?

I'm not defending Trumps words or tactics but he's just playing the game and it's not a new game, it's a game that has been spiraling out of control for years now. People need to wake up and see reality. Trump isn't the end of the world or the US but he has exposed huge divide and weakness in your nations political system.
He didnt just play the game. He and his staff were stiring the lowest possible human emotions all the while insulting nearly everyone and everyones intelligence left and right. What happened here broke some basic rules of society, meaning that restraint and certain behaviors are required for society to function even though they are not expicitly put on paper or guarded by law. Call it decency if you wish. There was no decency to be found here. And that is definitely a huge problem for US politics going forward.

It's not subjective at all. In the slightest. Pence is a complete fuckwit that wants to bring back conversion therapy. The fuckwad is literally a caveman.

Also, are you fucking legally insane? Do you really think Clinton would "attack Russia"? Jesus christ how fuckling mind wiped were you by the republican propaganda. No, Clinton wouldn't have "gone to war with Russia", she would just keep on putting the much needed pressure on them. Something we fucking needed to keep Russian in check.

Guess fucking what: with Trump (russian puppet) in the presidency, Putin is now the most powerful leader in the world. He will now do whatever he fucking wants. And guess what? That will bite the US back very fucking hard in a few years.

... I honestly can't understand why the fuck anyone would be more scared of Trump in office than Clinton.

Putin hates Clinton's fucking guts with a burning passion, and she is clearly a warhawk as well.

What exactly would Trump try to fight? He doesn't have any interest in the middle east.

Stop drinking the MSNBC/CNN kool-aid and think with your brains for two damn seconds people.

You should start reading all Trump's statements about foreign policy. Maybe you'll understand. No kool-aid needed.

I feel that is a lot of people. Trump for the vast majority of his life he was very much inline with the Democrats. Universal Healthcare ,abortion rights etc. The Trump we have seen for the last few years is in complete opposition to the Trump people have known for decades so people hope there is at least a middleground between the two rather then a radical position.

The campaign is the campaign.
It's a media showcase to drum up support by whatever means necessary. The campaign has always been politics at its worst. Trump exposed that.

People that think Trump actually believes half of what he said, or that he will actually follow any of it up are just as delusional as they were last night when they expected Clinton to win.

My point is that the very fact that Trump was able to succeed with that campaign highlights the problems within your nation (just as Brexit highlighted problems within ours). Those problema wouldn't have just disappeared if Clinton had won. Those problems need to be addressed now.

You may be right, but I don't feel comfortable with that assumption. Trump has said some very horrible things about Muslims, women, and Mexicans. He may choose justices that reverse marriage equality. I completely understand why so much are so upset. I'm not exactly happy about this either, but I can only imagine what it must feel like considering I'm a white male.

The best outcome is that Trump doesn't touch civil rights, doesn't build the wall, stops saying inflammatory shit, dials it back with military campaigns, but we'll still see Obamacare repealed and taxes reduced. The last 2 are pretty much expected given the Congress to go with it.

I'm really curious how the history books will look back on Donald Trump as.
"The dangers of an election fueled by slanderous Memes"

I have (had) a lot of armed forces people on my Facebook friends list sharing that specific meme that is supposed to be Ambassador Stevens getting tortured.

Despite the image being on the net 8 years before Steven's death, these people were convinced it was a photo of him and shared it like crazy to spread the word about "Killary".

So I just saw a GQ centrefold
Of nude Ivana Trump that was published like?? Late 90's I believe?? Anyway I had no idea who she was back then and the little post pubescent me used to well... mastrbate to those photos... I masturabted to too many questionable things in my horny teenage-young adult years, believe you me... but I Never felt as ashamed as I do now, after finding out this little fact.

I was on the verge of a panic attack when I realized Trump won. Now it feels like I'm dreaming or something.

Except fucking up the supreme court, I'm thinking the US is basically safe for four years. Me and others living in foreign countries will perhaps suffer more from his stupidity?

Fuck

You know, I'm so furious at the people who voted trump, and at the people who didn't vote anything knowing what was at stake.

I feel like some kind of divine punishment is in order. But the thing is, I can't imagine a more fitting punishment than just having Trump as their president. He's going to fuck over so many things...but democracy worked as intended and this is what the people voted for. It makes no sense.

It's like I'm feeling angry just so I can avoid feeling so hopeless and in despair.

Can someone recommend an editorial style gaming news website that stays away from politics? I want to talk about gaming on a gaming website, not politics. Kotaku and
Polygon are looking to serve a different audience. IGN and Gamespot have too few editorials.

Not looking for this, but similarly curious. Is there a gaming website with a conservative bias?

His vice president wants to spend federal money on electro shock 'therapy' for gay teenagers.

He does... and trump luckily doesn't. As I've said, if there's a bright spot, it's wether you believe it or not, that Trump is the most moderate on social issues in the republican field. I know that's not saying much, but he doesn't really care what Pence thinks, he made that blatantly clear on multiple issues especially mid debate when he basically called him stupid for his stance on syria.

Probably gonna be seeing a lot of articles like this, probably already have.

“That’s my man!” Godwin said. “Trump is a businessman. He’ll get people to stop sitting on their porch and not working. No one knows how to do anything.”

“And you have all these people coming from across the border to take their jobs,” added Stan Carroll, 70.

Dumb as fuck.

???
He's stated multiple times that he believes these conflicts should be state issues, and he does support abortion for rape/complications.

Trump has actually been PRO-LGBTQ longer than Clinton (who literally flipped on the issue less than six years ago lol). Do you guys just Google the first result for "Trump LGBTQ" or something?

It's really sad how absolutely brainwashed this site is, didn't help that anyone who openly supported Trump got perma-banned. But I guess at this point who really gets the last laugh right?
smh. he is not pro-lgbtq is he only half believes in their rights. he should not be governing our bodies full stop, no caveats. hilary may have flipped but at least she flipped all the way with no qualifiers.

if you leave these issues to the states, they will vote against these issues, or ignore them. gay rights will be held back for no reason at all other than "historical precedent". He openly believes in stop-and-frisk, and supports its proliferation throughout the country, which negatively affects POC overwhelmingly.

its like you don't even listen to your own fucking candidate and its pissing everyone off. here's to four years of posturing

You should start reading all Trump's statements about foreign policy. Maybe you'll understand. No kool-aid needed.

Trumps main foreign policy weakness is Asia, not sure why people keep making it about Europe.
Hes basically said he will cut support for South Korea and Japan, unless they do more for USA, plus a trade war with China.

NATO wont change, whole leadership group is full of people trained at USA military colleges, half of which will be on the pay roll of a lobby group (Joint cooperation "encouragement" groups) when they retire. Same shit in Australia.

I've been seeing the same thing. In fact, over on Twitter, I've seen at least 1 or 2 people say this during these past many months all while voting for him. Like "Oh you can vote for him. He actually won't do any of the stuff he says, it's all publicity" like that makes any difference.

Sounds like classic Dumbfuckistan

God forbid we call racists "bigots" just because they labeled all Muslims "terrorists".
The issue is generalisation. You didn't swing just against racists, you usually swung against everyone. And your reaction is the exact point.

Labeling Bernie Sanders supporters as racists. Hell labeling Bernie as racist. You went after everyone who wasn't on Hillary.

God it disgusts me how short people's memories are. I heard Paul Ryan just a few months ago call Trump racist. Because it was undeniable. He was saying and doing racists things. Republican Senators were like "Yeah, that's racist. I can't condone it."

And then today, even on GAF, lots of "No no no. We're totally not racists. I have a black friend. We're fine. No racists here. There was nothing racist about this election in the slightest" and people are like "Yeah, we should totally have just been more empathetic to you".

Girlfriend's dad said the exact same thing. "It's just talk, he doesn't mean it!"

But we just found out that most of those dumb white people in those areas are racists. It was all over the news last night.

I guess I forgot to say "some I assume are good people". You got me.

It's not like Trump got 100% of the vote in all of those states, so Dumbfuckistan's a bit unfair. I think reasonable people living there would understand the sentiment, though.
