Pence from the little I've read is insanely religious and I think that's dangerous. He refuses to accept the theory of evolution. I know Donald is incredibly stupid in regards to climate change and the various regulations in place to help combat the causes, but I really think Pence would do a lot worse in terms of social issues. I know that's hard to believe considering stuff trump has said, but I think Pence would strongly prioritize banning gay marriage ASAP.

I was actually starting to calm down and willing to give him the benefit the doubt, but then he pulls this bullshit. How can we have respect for a man that purposely antagonizes us? Even if you're Republican and hated Obama you have to admit he never tried to talk down to the Republican base, or mock them etc. He knew that to earn respect he had to give it first, just like every President I've known in my lifetime. The way Trump acts isn't presidential, it's simply childish and deserves no respect.

I wouldn't fear Pence or any other odiously politician like him going on a vendetta against journalists for exposes or causing international calamities because he feels disrespected by foreign leaders. One can go on.
Trump could have ran on Obama's entire platform. His temperament and intellect and irrationality are unsuitable for President of the United States. At the most basic level he fails the minimum requirements to hold the office that have nothing to do with issues and views. Once you add those in, sure, a ton more people like Pence would receive my contempt and criticism.

Don't get me wrong, Pence is awful and is going to take this country in a terrible direction, but Trump is so completely out-of-touch with reality and how a president should act, it makes everyone around him look better.
