I have X, Y, AS and now this digital and it's pretty nice being able to play without swapping cards. Nintendo's account system may suck but I'm honestly more scared of losing a tiny 3DS card than the entire handheld.

Preload games on the eshop are always midnight releases and thus unlock at 12 am EST (in the US). Third party games are generally not available to preload, and not put on the eshop until 12 pm EST on tuesdays, which is probably where the confusion comes from

Game is really good. It gets a lot of stuff right though I recommend when you play to turn off the EXP share when you get it and go into the options menu to change the Battlee Style to Set.

Modest seems to be the consensus choice given that she's a special attack specialist.
Her movepool and stats certainly support that choice. Timid isn't going to make her terrible speed stat much better.

I know this doesnt have anything to do with the game but just finished watching first ep of sun and moon and damn.. i was one of the people who didnt like the art change but now.. the battles how fluid they are and the expressions think im really going to like this series and got me even more hyped for the game with the Z move battle quotes

by scanning 10 QR Code a day you unlock the Island Scan, which allows you to find, for a hour, in a specific area, a Pokémon outside the Alola Dex.

To be more specific, you get 10 QR Code scans, and they recharge one each 2 hours, so to get the 10 again after using all, you need to wait 20 hours, hence the 'day'. If you scan the code, the Pokémon from the code is added to your Pokédex as Seen, and you get 10 points (if you haven't scanned that Pokémon in that day before). Once you get 100 points you can use Island Scan, which will select a random area in the island you're on and put a rare Pokémon (that is, one that is not on the regional dex. Some people found the Jotho starters for example). You have 1 hour to find the Pokémon, so it's recommended you use it only on islands you have been everywhere already.

If you're a person who is into a core team of 6 you stick with the for the entire game keep EXP share off. If you want to train up everything you catch along the way (and try to catch everything you can) then the EXP share works great combined with swapping out team members regularly and benching anyone you find to be a bit broken. At least that is what I found in XY (in ORAS there just wasn't enough I enjoyed using so I just decided not to fully evolve my team in that one).

In all seriousness, I am hoping I get a female starter for the first time. In recent games, I have almost made it a habit of making my entire team female, my starter being the only exception. I also try to catch them all with Luxury or Premeir Balls.Not sure why; I just love the looks of those types of Pokeballs.

There is no real major difference in the story between versions.
