Pokémon Sun & Moon |OT| Ultra Beasts and where to find them

24. So just tired to preload and my sd card is corrupted. Put it in PC and it's fine. ok So transfer the 3ds folder to my flash drive to transfer to another sd card but only 19GB of 28GB trasfered before everything said nope.... I have no clue what I just lost save file wise :(

I just want to gauge the age demographic of those in this thread since I have nothing better to do before this game comes out. Is anyone in their mid 20s here?

21 here. Been playing since Blue. Haven't missed a gen, though I never bothered to pick up Platinum and BW2. It's like, sure I wanted to, but sometimes I just don't care enough to play what I thought at the time was basically a retread. I do regret it though, but it's too late for me...

On a sidenote, I feel like X and Y was the most unmemorable Pokemon game I've ever played, which is sad considering it's the first to make it 3D. Unless I count ORAS, which I actually never bothered to beat... (3DS stopped working, by the time I got around to fixing it, I lost interest due to S&M being announced) But that's technically 3rd gen, so I don't really count it. :P

18, started with DPPt, will be interesting to finally see those remakes
on the Switch ;)

Also playing as boy, he finally has a hairstyle option which looks like mine

I do feel bad about missing out on all the Pokemon games that I didn't play after Crystal though, so after I finish Pokemon Moon, Final Fantasy XV, and Last Guardian, I'm gonna play through every region (remakes over originals where applicable). I beat Fire Red just last week, and will go through Soul Silver. Alpha Sapphire, Platinum, White, White 2, and X again. I'm looking forward to that.

Can't wait to watch some streams and let's plays of Sun and Moon tomorrow while I play the game myself.

Alright, I'm in quite the conundrum here. I'm saving for my europe trip - which i will be going next month; however, i really want this game. How good is it? Because the last thing i need is guilt 😂😂 is it good enough to break my savings a little? Haha

In my opinion it is one of the best Pokémon games of all time.

20, started with Ruby but I got it long after it came out. :)

I remember playing it on a long car journey at night with that weird light adaptor for the GBA and being upset when my dad told me to turn it off because it was stopping him from seeing out the rear window properly.

29, have a 7 year old girl. I was in summer camp before 6th grade when I first found out about Pokemon Red/Blue. I bought a Game Boy Color with my own money just to play Pokemon. I wanted Blue but Toys 'R Us only had Red so I grabbed that and ended up loving that version. Bulbasaur is life. Lost interest in the series with Black/White and X/Y even though I did play them. I kinda wanna get Moon but I'm not sure I have it in me these days to get invested in another Pokemon game.

depends on how much you like Pokemon IMHO. Did you try the free demo? If not, try it and it should give you an idea of whether you should purchase the game or not...

28 guy, playing as guy. In most other games I play female though, pkmn always dude tho.

Blue > Silver > Soul Silver > White > X > Moon + Pinball + Snap + Stadium + Go

I'm 29 myself. Started with Red & of course named my Charmander FIREBUTT (didn't realize back then that I could have lower-case letters in my nicknames :P)

Nearly 26, still remember going to the mall with my mom and picking blue at an EB Games after getting good grades in elementary school.

Tempted...

Admittedly, Pokemon is the only gaming franchise i play now days. My last game was oras in 2014 and xy in 2013. Easily my favourite game franchise, and i wouldn't be gaming if it wasn't around.

Edit*
I played the demo and i loved it. Although, I'm not particularly a fan of alot of the new pokemon. But, Rowlet is literally my favorite pokemon ever 😊

I'm 32, started with Blue, back in my first year of High School. Going to go with the female trainer for my main game this time I think, will go with the male for my secondary game.

Wow, those reviews are really positive (especially Eurogamer).

Played through the demo at lunch today and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh it felt.
You can tell the new director has a sense of humour - Team Skull are an instant classic with their bandanas and hippity-hop moves.

Will definitely be grabbing Moon once I finish Alpha Sapphire.

30. Been trainin' since Red & Blue.

I'm DLing the demo now, just to make sure it works OK on my old ass 3DS. And to make sure I actually want it, I guess.

I'm trying to decide between Sun and Moon... I want daylight and I mostly play at night, so I guess Moon?
