Pokémon Sun & Moon |OT| Ultra Beasts and where to find them

not sure if anyone noticed but the running/walking animation changes slightly based on if you're going uphill or downhill

it's pretty neat

I regret buying from Amazon, it is already 1PM and the game still hasn't been delivered.

I think the infatuation with Amazon that people have are overblown. At one time, before they came up with the idea of Prime, Amazon was great. Now, just to do basic shopping, you basically NEED Prime to get anything at a reasonable price. It's insane. It's like you have to pay the yearly microtransaction fee if you want Amazon to remain reasonable.

If you are just doing sporadic shopping on Amazon like I do, the $99 annual fee seems too high.

turned 22 a week ago, first pokemon was silver, grew up loving the anime, TCG, I got into the games pretty late though. Kinda stopped playing the games after 4th gen, but got back into with x/y ( which i never beat ) but still I always loved pokemon

I just want to gauge the age demographic of those in this thread since I have nothing better to do before this game comes out. Is anyone in their mid 20s here?

29 and started with Blue. Played a bit of Yellow and Black 2(I think?), and I beat X. Getting Sun version, but estimated delivery date for mine says Saturday. Boo :(

I'm 19. I feel quite young now...

Started w/ Diamond but went back to the older ones out of curiosity. So far I've played at least one version of each gen.

20 (21 soon), started with Red, played every gen

I actually do have Prime, but I guess they have delayed sales to upsell to their latest delivery feature, Prime Now.

Where I live Prime is worth it, usually I can get something within 6 hours of ordering it. But I could have already had the game for hours had I just picked it up at the book store when they opened at 8.

35 Red.

25 here.

I started playing from Pokemon Red and Blue, played through Gold, Silver, and Crystal, but kinda fell off at Ruby and Sapphire through Black and White 2. I still bought all of them as they came out, but strangely never felt a huge desire to play them for a while, and I don't think it was because I stopped liking Pokemon during that time. Then when X and Y were announced all of the excitement for Pokemon I had came crashing back to me and I played the games for nearly 200 hours when they came out. The fact that I REALLY got back into Pokemon through X and Y is probably one of the reasons X and Y and Gen VI in general are among my favorite Gens and have a special place in my heart despite the numerous flaws the games have and the grievances people reasonably have for them. It didn't hurt that it had what are now some of my new favorite Pokemon, including Greninja, Noivern, and Aegislash.

With all that said, this is the Sun and Moon OT, and I'm so excited to pick these up tomorrow! I'll be working until 4:00 P.M. tomorrow and will get my copies right afterwards. Luckily, I have the next two days off so I'll be able to binge all weekend. I already have my full team in mind for my playthrough, and have backups in case some of them are late game catches. Like X and Y, despite the low number of new Pokemon, I love most of their designs so I'm not that bummed out about it.

Well shit both the normal and the steel book shipped yesterday so I have 2 copies of both coming. I imagine the steelbook will be rare so I might hold onto that. My wife and daughter want sun after watching the moon/sun specific videos so I guess I will do Moon. Any reason not to? Also going with the owl for a starter I imagine. Hate cats and not a fan of the other one.

I turn 28 tomorrow (great bday present).

Blue (Bulbasaur) --> Silver (Chikorita) --> Sapphire (Treeko) --> Pearl (Piplup) --> White (Snivy) --> Y (Fennekin) --> Moon (Rowlet)

I'm super young lol 22 here. Started with HeartGold (Chikorita :3), though I used to be a huge fan of the anime and Pokemon Stadium when I was a child
