Pokémon Sun & Moon |OT| Ultra Beasts and where to find them

Any hard mode like B2W2?

No idea why GF abandoned that awesome feature. Although the way to unlock was beyond dumb.

No hard mode, though this is probably the most difficult Pokemon since BW2. If you plan to play it, I highly recommend changing the battle style to Set and turning off the EXP share.

Solaire and Yorshka for me.

I don't understand any of these words when put in this order.

Ok, let me try to explain with an example:

Nidoran typically has two abilities, those being Poison Point and Rivalry. As of Gen V, Nidoran may now have a third ability called Sheer Force. This third ability is called a "Hidden Ability" due to the nature of these abilities being difficult to obtain. How to obtain them depends on the game, but in general they tend to be difficult to obtain in comparison to the one or two normal abilities. For example: In Sun & Moon, you can chain together reinforcements that, over time, increase the chance that they'll have a Hidden Ability. How much this increases per chain and the base percentage of said chances aren't clear but that is one way of getting, say, a Salandit with the ability "Oblivious". Apologies for the original answer's confusion, I hope that clarified everything.

1 hour and 45 minutes.

I called in my gamestop to see if they were doing a midnight release. They said they were ad that there are tons of people there already. Didn't really expect that in my neighborhood

Should I go to my GameStop right now? I was gonna wait till like 11:30 lol. I never go to midnight launches so..

I'd aim to arrive at 11:30. I believe the finilazation of receipts is closed by 11:45, that way when midnight rolls around you pick up your copy and go. I've never see a reason to go any earlier than that. You may not be at the front of the line, but the lines/groups move quick.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make the game more difficult?

Not stuff like the Nuzlocke challenge which goes a bit too far for my tastes. I mean smaller things you can incorporate such as no switching in battle upon incoming Pokemon and the like that keeps as much of the Pokemon game experience as possible.

Mono type run or not teaching your pokemon TM moves.

Hearing reports that you get the Exp Share pretty early on in the game. You can turn this off and you can make the game harder that way...

Would I be insane if I buy Sun on the eShop to play on my commute tomorrow?

I already have Moon coming in the mail...

The pre-load is telling me the game is now available but when I check into the server to unlock it it says to wait for the game to release

damn you nintendo!!!! ;_;

I just want to gauge the age demographic of those in this thread since I have nothing better to do before this game comes out. Is anyone in their mid 20s here?

Change the battle style to set in the games options.

Turn off the EXP share when you get it and Change the battle Style to Set in the options menu. I also recommend changing the text speed to Fast. Beyond that, that's the most difficult that it will get using in game options unless you choose to not to use items in battle.

Wait, what are people doing at GameStop for an hour plus? Don't you get tired/bored? I'm gonna get there like 5 minutes before midnight haha

24 started with Blue, continued with Moon :P

Oh noooo do they still have that weird ass pet feature? Hell naw

For real, I never used Amie. But Refresh is legit. Saves you a ton money healing status and also makes your pokemon happier and battle better. The megaton is that it gives pokemon boosted EXP
