Remind me affection in Pokemon amie/brushing thing does not equal happiness right? I got a low level pichu and Im hoping that by just leveling him up and walking around with him that he'll eventually turn into a Pikachu.

I carried my pikachu in my party and it evolved after leveling up a few times.

Odd how it has a non real (for kids/teens) white color but nothing else. Such a step down from all of Pokken's colors. (Tho what I assume is red is oddly purple looking lol.)

And then I dug a little deeper and I remembered why I hate knowing more about Pokemon's systems. I got a jolly Popplio and now I feel like I want to restart.

Is a quiet Popplio good enough? I know it's slow but then everything this gen seems slow so maybe not that slow?

Duuude, I just saw you reset. Don't go down that slippery slope! Just play through without a care, at least on your first run. Save natures and IVs and stuff for later (if it's still appealing to you after end game).

Trading is unlocked when you reach the first Poke Center. This can be as fast as 30ish minutes after starting if you rush, but will be longer if you're taking your time and doing stuff.

If you don't know how, you don't need to and that's optional. You can't do that til you reach the fourth island.

(Assuming you mean the large cubical boulders anyway. If you mean normal breakable rocks, that's with Tauros (Sharpedo in the water) which also will never be necessary if you don't have them.)
