Well, this is a fucking disaste. Maybe we can still beat ISU and Baylor to get to 10 wins.
We ask ourselves this same question almost once a year when we let an FCS or low level team hang for way too long. A lot of it looks like crap playcalling. I know they wanted to work on stuff tonight, but damn, put them away with what you do best first then work on stuff.

Sleep walking, playcalling is probably playing into what UTC is good at defending, and I think Hurts is making a lot of poor decisions. He's not seeing open receivers and running, or keeping it when he needs to hand it off, and not gaining anything or losing yards on those plays.
Defense has mostly shown up since their first drive, at least.

I don't know what Lane is trying to hide from the rest of CFB but he is not helping Jalen a whole bunch when you can TEs blocking pass rushing DEs and calling QB runs with empty backfields.
Clearly the changes on the Oline haven't gelled either, Kirven has looked bad tonight.
Sometimes you just come out flat. Usually it's one of the triple option teams that cause headaches. This year UTC D is leaving their hearts on the field.
In other games, I was hoping WVU would be more competitive at home, but yeesh. keep Holgo out of the Casino tonight.

I feel like that's maybe the 10th carry by an RB this game. Ridiculous.
Edit: It's actually 9. 8 for Harris and 1 for Jacobs. 40 minutes into the game and not even 10 carries by RBs. Hurts is partially at fault for that though since he should have handed it off instead of keeping several times.

With the three backs Bama has, Jalen should never have a called run. He needs to be coached to barely take it, and only if its perfect. He pulls it a little too much.

Chattanooga's punter is not good. Bad kicks all game and it's not the fault of "rugby style," he's just bad at it.

UCF offense just looking terrible all game. QB sailing throws all night or otherwise just not getting it to receivers. Not to mention, no run game.

Makes you wonder how good Bama actually is, when their best win was technically week 1, against a team that was nowhere near as good then as they are now. I think the better defenses in the playoff are going to be a big problem for Bama's offense. Especially if they play as bad as they did tonight.
