I think by the final part in the story there IS no evil empire. It's just the prince vs the usurper.
The "evil empire" seem to just all be pawns.

Do we know if the Bahamut summon was a 1 time thing at the end of the game or is she acquired before and can be used like the others?
Maybe its a new game plus thing where you can use the summon after the game ends
How could it work with how scripted the fly by looks? How would that look if used anywhere other than Insomnia?

I think it would be fine. I mean Ramuh was used in Insomnia and we thought he may only come out in the Duscae region. Apparently Leviathan was also summoned in Insomnia for the Ardyn fight but I didn't see it...if those two could work there I don't see why Bahamut couldn't work elsewhere.
Well, both Ramuh and Titan have different attack animations for when you're out of reach. They just have to only use that one for Bahamut for any occasion that isn't the boss battle.

I don't see why not. Bahamut just threw a sword, circled around the enemy and then flew up above the enemy. The scene where Bahamut clashed swords directly with Ifrit I doubt will happen, since most enemies wouldn't do extravagant backflips to avoid the swords.
Well I was mostly talking about the fly-by which looked like they ran out of budget and threw in a cheap scaled down Insomnia model to represent scale for the summon. Given how it's a pivotal moment and they couldn't even make that look good, why would they put in extra worth to make it work on other regions of the world if you were to use it?

I got the final battle footage in its entirety before it got pulled, I got you guys covered it shouldn't take too long.
lol now I understand why they changed the phantom sword's color from clear transparent white to blue...
Transparent white? Isn't part of the reason that Noctis vs Stella shot is so iconic because of the contrast between the blue and yellow? Blue was always a big part of there color

My opinion on this has totally changed. Epic as fuck. Looks amazing. No godly angel form that's been done a million times. Just a prince and a usurper waging an epic battle through ruined streets and skies set to amazing music. I'm in.

Nah, leaks nailed it. Only thing it was wrong about was Ardyn having a second form.

He was supposed to become Ifrit or Shiva but that could've been changed to get a more grounded 1 v 1.
I think this works out well, the final battle looks good and not too drawn out.

I expect plenty of gifs of the final scene with Noct and Luna holding the picture with dickbutt photoshopped in. That's still a thing, right?
The big blue was from the magic symbol at the back mostly...
The phantom swords itself were mostly clear white with a tint of blue..
even on episode duscae it was like this..

I don't really mind it's design. I think the move is pretty cool. The view of city when it fly over looks really bad like duckroll mentioned... but the design and move is cool.

Is there ANYONE else out there who likes a personal face off between two foes as a final battle besides me? I liked it in KH2 (kind of doesn't count cause Riku), in MGS3 (balee dat), and in Twilight Princess. I liked it here too!
