Let's admit it: Pokedex entries are dubious at best. Whether Pokemon are tangling with Indian elephants or being hotter than the sun, the Pokedex reports on strange details regarding the wonderful and family friendly world of Pokemon.
However, the entries have gone completely bonkers in Sun and Moon. It reads like the Necronomicon now. Here are just a few entries.
Gengar
Sun
MoonShould you feel yourself attacked by a sudden chill, it is evidence of an approaching Gengar. There is no escaping it. Give up.
...WHATIt apparently wishes for a traveling companion. Since it was once human itself, it tries to create one by taking the lives of other humans.
Golbat
Nobody likes Golbat but damn.Sometimes they drink so much blood, they can't fly anymore. Then they fall to the ground and become food for other pokemon.
Toxapex
Corsola is a little cute pink Pokemon by the way.Toxapex crawls along the ocean floor on its 12 legs. It leaves a trail of Corsola bits scattered in its wake.
Palossand
Yes the phrase "masses of dried-up bones" is in a Pokemon game.Buried beneath the castle are masses of dried-up bones from those whose vitality it has drained.
Komala
Please tell me more about how this koala dies, Pokedex. It is born asleep, and it dies asleep. All its movements are apparently no more than the results of it tossing and turning in its dreams.
Froslass
Sun
MoonWhen it finds humans or Pokémon it likes, it freezes them and takes them to its chilly den, where they become decorations.
I seriously don't know which one is more terrifying. The soul of a woman lost on a snowy mountain possessed an icicle, becoming this Pokémon. The food it most relishes is the souls of men
Mimikyu
Ok I will call BS on this one, that is totally a story someone made up in fifth grade. Its actual appearance is unknown. A scholar who saw what was under its rag was overwhelmed by terror and died from the shock.
