Figured as much. Skipping Gamescom/PGW this year automatically boded well for PSX. I wonder if this will be Sony's course of action from now on; placing emphasis on their own fan event and turning their back on the more press-orientated conferences as a result.

I do think that, in terms of pressers and announcements, they did spread themselves too thin last year.

Des remastered is possible (PLEASE SONY), Des 2 is very improbable (they are working on bb2 and or a new IP, imho) as much as i'd love it.

This is a massive relief after no Euro show and a lackluster TGS

But "Sony has been keeping its powder dry since June" means that this is bound to be a better conference than last year's PSX (which I enjoyed actually, even though it was wildly inconsistent and ended on a real clanger). Sorry, can't be pessimistic for this I'm afraid. Parappa is coming back and I'm taking a front row seat on the hype train to see it happen!
