Yeah, honestly that kinda worries me more than the character selection.

Because at least in that regard, there will always be DLC and updated versions to add in missing fan favorites. But if the game's really 2v2, then it'll be 2v2 forever and I'd hate that.

The only report on that anyway is that one Malaysian guy who we've been told might not even be a truly verified source anyway.

I've seen people like Sneakers attempt at justifying why it would be 2v2 instead of 3v3, but I haven't seen anyone else say the game would for sure be like that.

I'm kind of hoping this shows up at the Capcom Cup and not the PSX conference. I just want a Switch version so I can play on the go.

Well if the roster really is 24 characters, then it would make more sense to make it 2 v 2, though we've had 3 v 3 with smaller rosters than that in the form of Skullgirls.

The game needs to have a shared Capcom / Marvel logo that's an adaptation of this but with various Capcom games and Marvel comics/movie footage

Right now, I'm not even worried about the format (possible 2v2) or the absence of X-Men characters. I trust that Capcom will make a great game so the existence of MvC4 alone is good enough for me. Oh and a remaster of UMvC3 would also be amazing.

3v3 allows for a lot more creativity in team construction. Would be a shame if we didn't get that.

So what if the roster's small? Marvel 2 had like 10 characters anyone used and it did just fine with 3v3.
