Finished my playthrough of Tales of Symphonia, after around 45 hours. The game is pretty good, like I said before some drawbacks are the grinding and the annoying puzzles, and some bad save point placement in a couple of dungeons.

I actually didn't do a lot of the late game sidequests (ultimate weapons, colliseum) because they required for me to grind a lot and the rewards weren't that good. That said, the game has a kind of a New Game Plus mode and one of the things you can do is gain exp faster, so in the future I might try another playthrough to see if I can do everything.

Overall, very recommended. $5 is a bargain for this game.

I feel like I'm better off buying Witcher 3 goty instead of the DLC for my already owned W3 copy.

I'm not sure but I think you can't use your old saves for the GOTY edition.

Every time I see it on sale and go to buy it, I scroll down to the Reviews section and see a solid monolith Not Recommended talking about the latest shitshow introduced in a new update that seems pretty nasty the way hundreds of people seem to be describing it.

Is ARK still a good game (at 70% Positive), or is it one of those games where it had a good run in early-access early on, before completely going to shit with the direction the devs took it later on going completely off-rails and the review score just hasn't been properly shifted because the first few reviewers haven't updated their reviews?

And actually this seems to be a common theme with a lot of games on Steam lately. Good Scores, but solid monoliths of NOT RECOMMENDED in the reviews section. Especially Early Access. And Vice-Versa sometimes.

im saying Sattelite Reign and Grim Dawn are most likely to not show up in bundles anytime soon.

If you want my actual recomendation, its Darkest Dungeon since its near the top of my games of the year. I dont like Grim Dawn, and I havent played Sattelite Reign yet, And I havent bought Invisible Inc because, like I said, im sure it will be in a humble monthly soon enough.

I can see why rocket league is pretty popular. Just made a last second goal to prevent OT.

I can also see why rocket league can be rage inducing, as my first 2 games had a guy doing as much harm as he was doing good. And my last match had an opponent help me score lol

That's cheap as hell even if you don't love how the game ends (you won't) or if you think its social commentary is kind of shallow and pointless (you might, if you follow that kind of politics in real life). Sneaking around and upgrading augs and stuff is still fun as ever.

Catacomb Kids and Vagante are both unique and amazing. I should really pick up catacomb kids again. Haven't played it in maybe... a year or so? Also Vagante.

Catacomb Kids is an amazing but hard roguelike action platformer whose environments and objects had a laundry list of attributes that you had to be aware of, as they can be used to your advantage but if your sloppy, most likely it will work out to hurt you.

Vagante is more pixel precision action platformer and the classes are extremely finely tuned. I've said it before but there are only maybe 3-4 pixels difference between the Rogue's Dagger and the Warriror's Sword and it makes a WORLD of difference.

Both are refreshing takes on the Spelunky-esque design and I recommend them.

If you like survival games, ARK is great. There hasn't been any update that screws the game.

Charming as fuck. Great writing. A bit simple but I loved it.

Can't really refute this, and I don't mean to give it a pass because every game should be 60fps minimum, but it's totally not a game that needs to be 60 for gameplay purposes.

Fun little Paper Mario esque RPG. Very laid back. Worth buying with the bundle that contains the second game.

I don't remember it being difficult other than a couple bosses. And if you're anything like me and do the sidequests, it extra shouldn't be necessary.

Go for it. It's one of the best RPGs released in recent years with tons of charm and great writing.

Some of the classes actually do have a dodge skill you can unlock. I never ended up using it since I got so used to not having a dodge and learned how to play around it though, so I don't have any further tips than that.

Also, bookmark this mod for when you inevitably get sick of the game's terrible fast travel system:

It lets you move "portcrystals" around the map so you can travel to anywhere and makes the game approximately 800% better.

My dude, Spelunky is over 8 years old. I don't think that train is ever leaving the station.

Thankfully Ori is better than Symphony of the Night. Also Dawn of Sorrow is better.

I just bought Ori this sale and haven't played it. But I already know it is not better than SOTN.

Given the huge amounts of praise poured on it from everyone else (and it really does feel like EVERYONE ELSE) I do plan to pick it up eventually, but I really don't know if 30% off is enough given my indifference.

But if you start the DLC from the GOTY version you have the option of getting a fully leveled up character you can customize. Not perfect, but works fine if you want to play the DLC.

It does not.
It's not particularly difficult outside of a few bosses, and when it is, it's more about tactics and set-up then sheer number difference.
EXP scales based on enemy strength, so underleveled characters will be up to speed in no time as well.

If you didn't liked LIMBO you probably aren't going to like INSIDE either, especially the first half feels like LIMBO 2: The Againening, but with a cooler art-style.
