I was talking about (late game area)
untended Graves
. It doesn't even have any interesting new enemies or anything and it's so easy compared to the areas you've been in.

Its there for story implications on getting
one of the three endings.
Its kinda optional unless you want an achievement. Also you get a
gesture
after beating the boss to get to
untended graves
and you use that
gesture
to unlock a secret major area of the game needed for lots of optional stuff. So all in all it is tied in with a purpose and actually done real well imo.

Hopefully it's as neat as make contact.

Just feel like running through a palette swapped area from earlier in the game full of enemies I one hit kill isn't very interesting at all. Especially when there's already been a major deficit of unique areas.

Because one of them is cheaper. If the old one ends up cheaper, could I send it back and get the new one for the price of the old one in case that ends up being the cheaper one?

I really doubt that. Wouldn't they be able to tell that you're sending them an older model? I'm sure they'd check for that. Serial model numbers and all.

Does anybody know if The Division redeems on uPlay alongside Steam? I bought the Season Pass on uPlay and planned to get the physical copy for $12 from GameStop, but that fell through and now I have the pass on uPlay and was considering using my steam wallet for the game.

The game gets activated on Uplay but the service knows you bought it through Steam, so it will always launch the game from Valve's service. If you try to activate the Season Pass on Uplay you will be able to do that, but will run into problems when you launch the game (some files won't be downloaded because the Steam version of the game doesn't know that you should have access to them, etc)

To sum up, don't do it.

Literally just finished DOOM. Oh my, what an amazing experience. It felt so refreshing to play an fps that felt different to every other fps that's come out in the past decade. It was so jarring at first for it to feel so fast and old school Doom.

Absolutely brilliant game, made even better by the fact that I paid $15 for it less than a year from its release. If DOOM 2016 is what happens when AAA studios actually focus and try not to throw anything and everything in one game, I'll come back from the indie scene.

Just brilliant. If you don't have it, you must buy it during the Steam sale. You must.

Any opinion on insurgency?? seems like a good tactical game for 2 bucks

Absolutely fantastic, needs quality headphones to play if you are competitive in order to get the direction of which opponents are hiding. Underrated sound design.

Your enjoyment may vary depending on the server you are playing. There are servers with friendly fires being off or very forgiving(which sucks), killer infos are shown (i dont necessarily like this but you can turn it off, but then again you are in a disadvantage), spawn protections, longer resupply timer, ETC. ETC.

There is also a crazy over the top coop, SERNIX, which I enjoy a lot too.

Very strict with cheaters.

Typical mp, people will be shouting ALOHA SNACKBAR, random words, and/or playing anime themes / indian songs. But server admins typically play the game.

There is a cancerous map though.

Not the best looker and gunplay is underwhelming but hey I've 500 hours on it lol.

I've been thinking about buying Trails of the Sky, but I've had my doubts since I don't know much about it. Does it turn into a grindfest at some point? Because I hate when games go for that.

I put about 7 hours into it.

Ugly game. Just fucking ugly. Characters and environment.
Battle system is pretty generic. Nothing to write home about.
Story seemed decent so far. Everyone wows about the story, so maybe there is something better there. Dunno.

But I dropped that game like a hot potato.

Maybe I'll force myself to get back into it one day.

Yes, it's so good.

Huh. Do you not like pixel art in general?

Just picked up my daily 3 cards and, once again, no 6. I'm finding it really funny that out of 35 drops (between voting, queues and purchases) not a single one was a 6.
At least I got a trade releasing tomorrow for that 6.

Ditto for me, except 7. So I just bought them for a dime. Why not.

Oh, you haven't missed anything. They don't offer fast travel in the early game. You'll see how it works when they unlock it, and you will likely be immediately annoyed with it unless you have the patience of a saint. Their idea is to push you into battling as much as possible because they know the combat is the highlight of the game, but you can really only fight the same pack of goblins in the same spot so many times before you just want to quit the game and be a family man.

I didn't see anything about fast travel in the link you gave, just making sure it's the right mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/96/?

So happy to have won Odallus: The Dark Call from the holiday giveaway thread.

Love the artstyle of this game, looks right up my alley:

What other good games on Steam have that "Castlevania vibe"?

Is Sleeping Dogs Definitive worth it at 7.xx? Never played it before.

Personally. i liked it a lot more than GTAV and am kinda really saddened that we're never getting the sequel, and with that i might not be the only one.

It's just a really fun game all around, set in an atmospheric setting we haven't seen often in videogames and got Wei Shen, who's just a badass.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed Sleeping Dogs more than the GTA series.

Best CCG is...

Now if FromSoftware remastered it and added online mode...

Looking up gameplay right now right now. I'm assuming that picking up a GC copy is absurdly expensive right now.

Deus ex mankind divided worth the £13?
I picked it up and have been playing the past few days. If you liked Human Revolution, it's basically more of the same.

If you haven't played Human Revolution, if you enjoy sneaking through vents and crouch walking, and being outnumbered with superior firepower (either weapons or abilities if stealthing), then yes.

I'm enjoying it, a solid 3/5 so far. Story is completely forgettable.

Not expensive.

and I think ebay may have cheaper copies of LK2

Also an interesting thing about LK1 is that the game runs at 60fps <3 (2 is 30fps but its cause they killed the random battles to put the monsters on the field.)

Is Turok good today or is it a nostalgia thing? I've never played it before, but I do love OG Doom when I played it earlier this year

It is kind of a nostalgia thing, but not totally. Played it for the first time summer '15 on N64. Some of the level design is really bad (too labyrinthine for no good reason) and having to repeat levels a few times to find that ONE key you just CAN NOT find is irksome. The platforming is REALLY bad at spots (and something that was complained about even 20 years ago) and the bosses are too easy but... There are shades of a good shooter in there. If you can appreciate games for being a product of their time you should enjoy it enough (I did, in spite of everything), it doesn't really hang with FPS games of today the way something like Quake 1 or Duke 3D still do, though.

Is the regular street fighter V worth it? i dont think im spending 60 Canadian dollars for the deluxe edition

Is your goal to play online vs other people or offline vs other people? If yes, then I would argue that is a very fun game, but one with a bunch of technical and quality-of-life problems that I really wish Capcom would fix. If you don't intend to play vs other people, then no, it is definitely not worth it.

Keep in mind that you don't need the character pass included with the deluxe edition to unlock those characters, but after a certain point you will need to grind a truly awful game mode ("survival") in ordre to earn enough in-game currency to unlock the next characters.

Awesome game, didn't even know it was from From Software.

There was a time FS did more than Dark Souls and Armored Core games. I miss those days a bit even if some games they did were bad (Evergrace, Forever Kingdom and Murakumo for examples) but they clearly were constantly trying new stuff and there were quite a few interesting games (Lost Kingdoms, Otogi, Chromehounds, etc)

Got the first boss of furi 4 pips down but then he kicked my ass. This is gonna be a struggle.

Still not as intense as Paint it Black though.

Holy shit Otogi was from!? I loved that one and the second one. Had no idea what was going on, but I liked it.
