(I actually want to see the spoilers, and that seems like a good place to start.)

Well, this is just unacceptable. I don't know what's going on with CN, but obviously they are as dysfunctional as all fuck at this point. I can understand leaks a few days ahead, but nearly one month? The entire, apparently earth shattering, Bomb? What the hell?
 
I'm watching these episodes because I'm weak, but then I am leaving this thread for the safety of others

Stay strong if you can SU-GAF, but I totally understand if you cannot >_>
 
I feel like I should watch them, because i guaran-damn-tee that Youtube's suggested videos are going to show me spoilers pretty soon.
 
Halfway through episode 1 and this is already so good and mind-blowing that part of me wonders if Cartoon Network released these early on purpose. Like how Beyonce dropped an album unannounced or how Run the Jewels released their 3rd album a few weeks before the announced release date.

I keep pausing because I can't handle everything all at once, I need to vent!

to be fair, if season 5 just goes crazy with the story episodes you could wrap up SU very solidly and it would be fine *see gravity falls*

with adventure time ending though, I doubt SU ends before season 7 though as it pulls decent ratings even with the horrible way they treat it.

With this bomb, there is a fairly clear path to a series end if you apply a bit of imagination.

Very ambiguous, but still massively spoiler-y:
The entirety of the zoo just SIMMERS with possibility. That place is a potential rebel army just waiting to be given purpose.

Like, I always felt that the show needed to do something like this
as a way to escalate, but I was NOT ready for it.
 
Welp, that was a ride. I feel like this is the first SU arc to completely take into account the CN bomb format.

Yellow now has a reason to go to Earth personally.

ill read it when I see the eps tomorrow or the day after.

but i mean just going off what we know we have 1.5 seasons for sure left. if they did a bunch of more fluffy episodes recently because the rest was going to go crazy it could work.

I mean what... we need to deal with jasper, still resolve the cluster better as that was a temp fix for sure, have to deal with yellow diamond, and likely the other diamonds and the potential war they are in the middle of.

they could go full Gur lag (abbreviated in a way where people who have seen the series should be able to figure out it and people who haven't can ignore it :P) at the end and it would end fairly well I think.

if they end up being picked up for a few more seasons you can add a lot more story less heavy stuff, likely some of which would be focused on connie and peridot's relationship to steven... though to be fair they seem to have mostly nipped any "love triangle" away with the peri-lapris paring.

either way I just hope that the series ends in a way that allows the creators to fully tell the main story they want to tell.
 
So Yellow maybe be coming to earth soon,and what the fuck was up with the room full of Rose Quartzes ? Also why does Steven see through Blue Diamonds eyes. That has to add more evidence to the RQ=PD theory, but there was so much in this bomb to disprove that.

Seems like Home World decommissioned all the Quartzes to be destroyed after Rose shattered Pink Diamond but Blue was too sentimental and just kept them bubbled.

Expecting 1 an uprising, rebirth of the crystal gems as they did before" and Civil war between Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond??? Not that Blue Diamonds morals are inline with the Cgems at all but, there is clearly a difference.

every episode of this bomb was fucking amazing. it's the show firing on all cylinders in the best way
 
That was pretty good.

Bravo for Steven trying to get the truth even though he had to be a bit of a brat to do it and i really love that the supposed enemies are just as hurt on their side as well and they have no problem showing that emotion. Its very strange that Steven's link is with blue diamond and i wonder why that is? Could it be related to his link with Lapis, given that the diamonds apparently make the other gems of their court?

Plus that room of Rose Quartzes are hella interesting and could lead to some crazy shit. Imagine Yellow Diamond sending that army to Earth, the mind fuckery could be brutal for the rest of the gems.

It was cool seeing the fully grown Amethysts and it shows that the one we know is not so different or defective as she thought. Bonus points for her having met and chilling with more of her sisters too.


I really hope we get to see that shattering scene because man so many things seemingly came from that moment.


Finally no mention of Jasper at all LOL

Its extremely unfortunate that this leak happened since i would have been at the edge of my seat for most of these eps
(that scene on the ship...)
but alas. The least i might do is still tune in
 
I guess I'll wait for the episodes to air. I tried to google it to see when they air but google showed me every recent mention of steven universe on twitter in the search results. I looked away before I was completely spoiled but I accidentally saw the words
Lapis terraforms.

Where did I put thst neuralizer...
 
I won't discuss details other than to say I love the hell out of that song, its such a completely different style for Steven Universe and yet utterly fitting for that actress

Absolutely. The Sardonyx arc had a nice through-line, but these five episodes are as serialized and linear as the show has ever been. It's not "Oh, Garnet and Pearl have a fight and other stuff happens while they try to recover." Even the last four episodes of Season 3 can be divided into two disinct parts (Beta-Earthlings & Back to the Moon-Bubbled).

This bomb is literally plot-point to plot-point with a clear setup in Ep 1 and clear payoff in Ep. 5, and it's so, so good. That being said, they made every episode distinct within that plot and they all offer different things.

Even with everything revealed, there's tons more plot threads that have been opened up and I'm excited for the rest of Season 4 and beyond.
