Smart deduction from a cinematic launch trailer
That trailer was amazing. Like I'm at a point where there is no way the game itself can live up to how hyped I am for this game.
You could have said this about MGSV trailers before that game came outBut this cinematic trailer already looks like has more of a depth story than the last Zeldas imo. Which is great.

Yeah, I watch the game shown at E3 for two hour and I watch this, these moments feel few and far between. Man, I want to be excited after watching this trailer.
E3 Demo had towns and NPCs removed.
I'm at that level right now. The very extensive gameplay showings didn't make me nearly as excited.
This has the potential to be the greatest game ever. That trailer... wow.

Smart deduction from a cinematic launch trailer
This game has a heavy focus on experience and also freedom. Its not really story heavy. You can choose to do all of the tasks and all of the missions and youll still get to the end, or you could choose not to do all of them, and you can still get to the end.
The story isnt as clear cut as it was in the past with the existence of Ganon, Link, and Zelda. With this one its a little bit more vague. Youll kind of feel what Ganon is, and youre going to feel maybe this is what Zelda is like, or this is what Link is like. Its really Links adventure in discovering all of that.
Watched it 5 times now and the second half of the trailer made me tear up every time. Holy shit that orchestral soundtrack....
is there that crying hug as a gif yet?
I want dat
Loved that scene.
100% Ghibli moment.

I know. I'm talking about the huge calamity and the tone that it sets in the trailer. This felt really high stakes. With the current gameplay structure in the open world, I don't expect there to be the same kind of focus. I haven't heard music that is remotely similar in the gameplay demos, either.
