It was a different time, to be fair.
That's what I was thinking. It gives off a Wii Sports kind of vibe.
Please, Sony has supported the PS3 until the end and they release games for the PS4
What did Nintendo release on the Wii U the last 2 years ? Almost nothing
They had several years for games development, this line up is sad and pitiful
And between each games, there will be a desert because there is not multiplat games
And this is just one thing which is shabby with the Switch
I am not going to talk about the 32Go storage, the ethernet port's absence, the paid online, etc...
It really, really should have. That game just screams "bundled in launch title".
As a big Metroid fan and hardly a Zelda fan, yeah, it's hard for me to see Zelda as the only selling point of the Switch come launch, even worse when you consider it's also coming to Wii U.
To the people comparing PS4 and XBO launch lineups, they were better and even then at least Sony (from what I remember) kept releasing titles for PS3 even during 2013 right before releasing the PS4, unlike Nintendo who stopped supporting the Wii U because they were supposedly focusing on Switch.
Geez....Should have delayed this until more titles were ready. I though this was going to be the first Nintendo console I bought on launch day but I just cant. Zelda and Mario are the only games Im even remotely interested in.
I hope Nintendo has some bombshells to drop at E3 or else...fuuuuuuu. So disappointing...

Seriously. I haven't been following them, but when did they stop releasing games? I know they haven't been selling Wii Us for a year now, right?

Since SMT V isn't anywhere close to launching, I can wait for the switch. Zelda is cool; Mario, Xenoblade, and Project Octo look great too, but it's pretty barren at launch. I was pretty disappointed that It wasn't a new Mario Kart, just 8 HD or whatever. Might consider the Switch in Holiday 2017 when stuff starts dropping. Good overall showing for Nintendo though. I'm sure this will sell MUCH better than Wii U did, if only for a portable HD Zelda.
I'm legit surprised they didn't show off the Switch Versions of Sun and Moon. Thought it was a shoe-in. I may bite for that if the game had much more graphical detail.
But let's see what they announce at E3 Treehouse.

Nintendos last WiiU game was Paper Mario Color Splash, they only stopped selling Wii Us like a month ago.

It's pretty bad when third party support was more interesting than first party titles, especially at laundry. They really need to do away with party games like One Two Switch. I mean, it could catch on, but I doubt it.
I don't have any interest in that game so it works for me

Those consoles carried a tremendous amount of goodwill from their successful predecessors. Consumers and fans knew the games were coming. When the Nintendo 64 launched with only two games it was okay, because it was the successor to one of the greatest consoles of all time and fans believed the same games and experiences would migrate to the new system. The Switch is coming from the Wii U, and it was Nintendo's job to make up for that abomination right out of the gate and incentivize consumers with a great launch, stellar lineup, great price tag, and better features than what they've shown thus far.

No but I think you are...Sony and MS have all major third party devs on board and had huge franchises like BF and COD, asassins creed at launch. This ensures a constant stream of games and support, none of which Nintendo has.

Zelda seems about the one title I want Day 1, though no doubt that will be keeping me plenty busy.
Glad to see Sonic Mania has been added to the list, so at least now I know which platform I'll be picking it up for.
Still have other games to keep me busy, so no concern for time between Splatoon and Mario for me.

You may want to recheck the Wii U launch lineup. It def didn't have anything on BotW's level, but it had more games worth playing.

I agree that the launch is super weak and that's unfortunate coming from WiiU, but I'm honestly not too concerned in general because this year we get plenty of games. Now, I live in Japan, but if you're really itching for more games at launch, you could import (the admittedly underwhelming as killer apps) Puyo Puyo Tetris, Disgaea 5 and Dragon Quest Heroes 1&2. For me? I think it's only Bomberman at launch :x

Honestly PS4 ac4 black flag is better than unity and syndicate, imo.
Pretty good game according to most folks (not that unity and syndicate aren't)

I did. That's why I waited until last year to get a PS4. And that's despite the PS4 having far better third party support than the Switch will get. :/
