Hmm, the video I was watching was with the Oni boss and looked like a really skilled player doing a bunch of combos. Anyway, those clips do look more in line with Souls bosses.

Dark Souls has had it's day, As great as they still are, They have become far too easy, When r1 is all u need.
Nioh looks a fresh challenge on that type of game not seen since Demons/Dark souls.
Will be great to learn a whole new battle system along with dying and learning along the way.
My friend hopes it has Co-op, Not sure myself if it does in the vain of the souls series.

I have a good feeling about this one after the Alpha and Beta. Confident enough to actually pre-order it.

It has co-op, you can summon people from Shrines (Bonfire equivalent).

Its awesome that before the game even released they let us play lots of content in the Beta also showed many bosses/areas gameplay videos out there too etc shows they're pretty confident in their game

I've got Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza 0, Tales of Berseria, Nioh, and Horizon all pre-ordered right now. I'll be getting Nier, Persona 5, and DQHeroes 2 as well. Games for days right up until the end of summer, probably. Then I'll probably grab ME: Andromeda, and KH 2.8.

Nioh will review well, I'm sure. Might be a bit too hardcore for mainstream audiences, especially since the game's difficulty will be off the charts. Can't wait though, need a challenging experience.
