Do y'all really want to do this already? Maybe, just one time, we not have review score shenanigans and outrage for a big game? Maybe not arbitrarily throw shade at games you don't like that reviewed well? I mean, how often does this end well for anyone (other than the people who come just to see meltdowns)?

Thank you...I love all aspects of gaming, Zelda looks amazing, but I can still enjoy something like Until Dawn without comparing the two.

I just looked into what lillies are for. They are typically for 30th anniversaries. And Zelda just so happens to be 30 years old this year. Hah.
Also...they're strongly associated with funerals. Hoo boy. "Lilies symbolize that the soul of the departed has received restored innocence after death."
A kiss would suffice. It would be the first time since Adventure of Link. \:

The attention to detail Nintendo gave this game is crazy. The horse riding is so great looking. And they said they had team members working for years on each animal. This game will be one for the ages.

I've heard 5+ years and I've heard much longer than that - like it's something they've been conceptualizing, building and fleshing-out for a long time - waiting for the proper tech to arrive so it could become a reality.

If that guy does turn out to be a Sheikah warrior, traitor or otherwise, I would hope there is explanation around his existence - who are they, why do they fight you, and why are they in good health still while the other Sheikah we've seen are mummified.
He could just be something that gets conjured when you go into one of the shrines that was said to be more like a battle arena. A spectre of a Sheikah warrior that appears and fights you as a test of your strength or whatever. Defeat him and you complete the shrine, with him disappearing, and changing to a friendly Sheikah or the mummified one that gives you an orb.

Yeah I hope that isn't the final title screen, its just so plain. Zelda usually has pretty good title screens too.

I'm just glad that the UI looks incredibly Snappy and quick so if you need to hold and drop a couple items to feed your horse, dog or distract an enemy you can do that very quickly.

My guess would be that the blue arrows could un-corrupt the gardians in one shot. Sheika tech seems to be red when corrupted, blue when good. It would be an overpowered late game object like the light arrows.
Also I would like to mention the genius of starting from the Great Plateau and working for the ability to jump off from it. Especially the contrast between the Plateau and the Central Hyrule we've seen in the treehouse stream. The Plateau is basically a self contained little world with forests, mountains, plains... but where you're limited in your speed and your abilities. Once the game gives you the paraglider, I guess the implied next step would be to jump off to Central Hyrule. From there the contrast is incredible: a land where wild horses roam free, giant fields with tall grass, little outposts along the way... it's like the adventure finally begins. Some people seem to have a fear of emptiness in open worlds, but I think it can work if it gives you the feeling of being lost, of being a small part of a giant world. That's what I feel when I see the progression from the Plateau to Central Hyrule.

To be fair, Skyward Sword's was pretty boring - just the logo on a background of the sky. But at least there was some thematic relevance there.
The one in the Treehouse stream is something I could cobble together in Photoshop in less than 5 minutes. I really hope it's not final. It would be surprisingly cheap for a game that is clearly high-budget.
I mean, it's not hard, guys. You've already got a good model. Just pull a Xenoblade.
Cone on Aonuma, give us a MM 2. Recycle as much from BotW as you can, set yourself a hard limit development period, 2 years or so, and make something new and weird. Well not you, you can supervise still, but let some younger blood direct it like you got to with MM.

I'd totally be down with a follow up game with a bunch of reused assets if meant a much shorter wait in between games. Also hope Aonuma gets make his thief game too.
