Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| I wonder what GANON'S up to?

Damn that Wolf Link amiibo is hard to find. Sold out every online store in Finland.

Fortunately amazon France have them so I ordered from there.

Need to finish Cave of Shadows before March 3.

What does Hero mode usually entail ?

Enemies deal double damage and you're forced to heal only from Bottles. Since many enemies in this game can 1-3HKO link by default and no hearts drop from grass anyway, that sort of Hero mode is rendered somewhat pointless and I don't think they'll just drop Hero mode so I'm guessing it'll be something different this time around. Probably not remixed enemies or anything drastic like a character action game. I don't think the game will be hard or anything but I don't think it'll be disatisfying since the core combat mechanics seem much better thought through this time around, the enemy design looks better than many 3D zeldas and the designed "camps" often throw a lot more enemies at Link at once (the first notable one off the plateau had 8 or 9 enemies with 4 blue Bokoblins who kill Link in Two hits, I was worried that they wouldn't increase the difficulty quick enough off the plateau, but that seems to be reassuring that they're being pretty good about difficulty balance this time around).

So we can definitely use the pro controller on Wii U right? I don't want to buy a Switch for this, but I probably will if I have to use the Quasimodo nightmare that is the Gamepad.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| You Can Go There

or, alternately:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| See That Mountain?

They should have an option so that bringing up the menu screen is realtime and enemies can still attack you.

This would probably be the logical step up in a difficulty modifier I'd make and probably the only one besides making the enemies ridiculously aggressive for the lols or something because that's the only variable left that could be turned up easily.

Best Zelda? I think so. I'm also very fond of OoT and TP Zeldas.

Wind Waker Zelda will forever be the best Zelda. None of the others have even come close to matching her in personality.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Changing the formula

Edit: Forget about the above!

Breath of the Wild |OT| Switching the formula

Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Switching up the Game

Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Selling Switches Worldwide

Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| A Switch to Open World

Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| No More Hero's (Tunic)

Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Burn Everything

Just found this, this is based on data that isn't complete (the map wasn't zoomed out at its maximum)

I read that it's around 400 km2, 4 times GTA V, about the same as XCX, 10 times Skyrim

I really wonder if they'll be able to make an openworld similar to Red Dead Redemption with subtle level design : you need to feel the adventure and nature aspects, but it must stay entertaining and give you things to interact with (watching an event or looking at a landscape is an interaction, and they are very well timed in RDR or GTA IV)

I saw this but the size of the WW map doesn't make sense unless he didn't count the water.

This is so hype. My word.

Yeah I'll agree it kinda has to be "Open Your Eyes". Then again...

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| A Link to the Future

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Blue is the new green

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Breadth of the wildfire

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Green tunics? Where we're going we don't need green tunics...

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Hat sold separately

I'm having trouble figuring out what this game's "twist" is. Ocarina had time travel, MM was the transformations/three days aspect, TP was Wolf Link. What is it in this one? The sheikah slate? Or something we haven't seen yet?

Much more open
Shrines
The collosi type animals roaming.
Slate with its abilities.
Twist could be related to the 100 years asleep thing too.

I like a lot Blue is the New Green and Burn Everything.

My poor suggestions:

  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Formerly known as Zelda U
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Legola´s Crossbow Training

Is that accurate?

Skyrim was huge af

Speed of traversal is important too. Movement in Skyrim is slower than BoTW so it feels very large. Iirc Xenoblade X's map is the same as BoTW (if not slightly bigger) but you hsve blitzing run speed and giant flying robots.

I'm not all that familiar with Skyward Sword, having never played it...but I spotted an area that might potentially have some connection to the "Sealed Grounds" area from that game in the latest trailer...

Another vote for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Open Your Eyes"

But also want to suggest:

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Shrine Fao Gen"

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Shrine Ao Feng"

Doesn't seem likely, [Skyward Sword story spoilers]
the Sealed Grounds gets plugged by a portion of Skyloft which fell to the Surface due to Link's Triforce wish.

I was just going to mention this but not for the same reason, I thought it was the spiral spit of land you can see in the North East edge of the map.
