It's not unlikely that there's a Hero Mode like past games, but in general it seems difficulty this time around is balanced around the Hero Mode esque elements of past games, so they could possibly change something else.
What does Hero mode usually entail ?

So we can definitely use the pro controller on Wii U right? I don't want to buy a Switch for this, but I probably will if I have to use the Quasimodo nightmare that is the Gamepad.
They should have an option so that bringing up the menu screen is realtime and enemies can still attack you.
For the OT title, I think it should be simple like: Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Open Your Eyes.

Best Zelda? I think so. I'm also very fond of OoT and TP Zeldas.
Second quest would be DLC I could get behindI wouldn't be surprised if they re-used the same world in future games, honestly. Maybe even just a different threat/quest. I can't imagine them starting from scratch again.
spirit tracks zelda comes pretty close. maybe even better since she doesn't turn into a doll near the end of the game.Wind Waker Zelda will forever be the best Zelda. None of the others have even come close to matching her in personality.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Now go, let the Legend come back to life.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| Burn Everything
i like this.
Just found this, this is based on data that isn't complete (the map wasn't zoomed out at its maximum)
I read that it's around 400 km2, 4 times GTA V, about the same as XCX, 10 times Skyrim

I really wonder if they'll be able to make an openworld similar to Red Dead Redemption with subtle level design : you need to feel the adventure and nature aspects, but it must stay entertaining and give you things to interact with (watching an event or looking at a landscape is an interaction, and they are very well timed in RDR or GTA IV)
I saw this but the size of the WW map doesn't make sense unless he didn't count the water.

Much more openI'm having trouble figuring out what this game's "twist" is. Ocarina had time travel, MM was the transformations/three days aspect, TP was Wolf Link. What is it in this one? The sheikah slate? Or something we haven't seen yet?

He talks about all the major 3D Zelda games and what it would take to make the perfect Zelda game - and he absolutely nails this game...and he made the video back in 2012!

Zelda: Breath of the Wild |OT| I wonder what GANON'S up to?
I'm not all that familiar with Skyward Sword, having never played it...but I spotted an area that might potentially have some connection to the "Sealed Grounds" area from that game in the latest trailer...
