I mean, '90s nostalgia is a big thing right now, and you don't get more '90s than the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Looks like utter fucking shit. Would rather watch Ivan Ooze.
She can pee on me instead.
Where are Bulk and Skull though?
Fair enough, but nothing about this screams 'general audiences' to me. Transformers this ain't.
Ranger suits look surprisingly great in motion. CGI looks very good and all these Zods remind me of Pacific Rim which is a good sign.,
Hyped!
Edit: Trailer genuinely made me laugh too times. '' I am black'' and ''That's a strong ass hologram'' got me good.
Visually looked like poo poo. And really? Power in a trailer in 2017?

I mean, honestly, would anyone have expected a Transformers to be all that mainstream of a thing before the first Bayfilm, though? The franchise was more or less dead before that.
They cloned him?

Nope, they cloned him based on the designs.

Yeah, I'm all about being wary about this new film but trying to play up the original PR flick is ludicrous. You don't actually want watch it, MMPR the movie aged veeery badly.
There's no way that the Power Rangers are in any way comparable to the Transformers. Robots that turn into vehicles is far more cinematic than a bunch of kids who jump into combining mechs.
Also Power Rangers has a legacy of being generally aimed at a much younger kids and awful, awful production design.

The chance of this one being worse than the previous two are basically zero.
