I was of the complete opposite opinion. I like the helmet more squared off like in the original movie. Instead of these very round helmets.

I really hate the ugly bowling ball texture of their armor.

The CG choices they have made for this film are rough, really rough, on the posters it looks like something that was meant to join the Transformers on the Beast Wars CG show back in the late 90s. I know they don't have all the money in the world, but in a time where some studios are pumping out cg suited characters that people didn't know was CG and we've got films bringing back dead actors and nearly getting there, this just looks really bad.

I'm excited to see it, I felt giddy watching the trailer. I just don't understand the suit and Zord design choices at all, they aren't recognisable really at all, the tyrannosaurus is probably the only one I imagine anyone coming into this knowing nothing could guess.

If this does well, I hope we end up getting a version 2 that's a bit less bay transformers weird looking and more like a modern take on the originals.
