Individual zords look ok from what we see, Mega Zord still looks weird. Goldar is just a lump of melted cheese. Zordon looksg ood though, cool way to do him instead of face in a tube. Alpha really does look weird and I still don't like the suits.

Effects don't look like as much of a hot mess as I thought they would, especially considering we're just now seeing them for the first time before the movie drops in March.

Though I'm kinda getting the feeling that the movie is going to be around 90 minutes long and we're going to see the Rangers suit up in the last 10 minutes to have a quick MegaZord battle. Better than nothing I guess for the hardcore fans.

Looks like the typical "enjoyable and fun ride" super hero movie that will get stuck in the mediocrity area. Probably not too bad on its own, but honestly I had just enough of those and don't think I could survive another movie with all this Marvelesque quips humor.

I guess I prefer the old Power Rangers which is pure trash and that for much more enjoyable for me personally!

I think it's going to be more that Rita uses a hybrid of black magic / green ranger power in order to do her Rita shit. The Green Ranger stuff will simply be part of her backstory I bet. After she loses she'll probably use the Green Ranger coin to make a proper Green Ranger. Considering the Green Ranger Arc is probably the most popular MMPR arc I'd be shocked if they don't do a more proper adaptation of it.... assuming we get a sequel.

The original MMPR movie, which came out pretty much at the apex of Power Rangers hype, made $66 million worldwide in 1995. With inflation adjustment that's about roughly $100 million in 2017 money. I'll be shocked if this movie makes its budget back.

But if Rita uses the green powers in this movie, that is their version of the green ranger arc. The heroes are fighting a villain who uses a power like their own against them, it's happening in this movie.
Of course they could do it again but it would feel like a repeat imo.

• The design work is still horrible.
• Unmasked faces are always bad.
