Since work first began on Horizon Zero Dawn, the merch team here at PlayStation has been really excited at the prospect of partnering closely with the talented development team at Guerrilla Games on its incredibly rich new PlayStation IP, out 1st March on PS4.

In the run up to launch, we've been busy developing an exciting array of officially licensed accessories to take you deeper into the world that Guerrilla is creating, from strategy guides and statues, to art prints and apparel. Today, we're proud to give you a look at selected items from the range that will be available in the coming weeks, both online and in local gaming retailers. Plenty more exciting new products to follow!

That bag and wallet. Cmon guys, use subtle game iconography and design for your accessories and clothes. Not big honking logos. Always go subtle.

Holy shit that Thunderjaw

That blue and red tee is pretty cool. Subtle enough I might wear it. No logo either, which is nice.

Sony really try very hard to make Horizon happen.

I hope it happen.

Lol this is how I feel. Hope it works out for them critically, though I guess commercially it'll probably be a shoe-in at this point.
"Sony doesn't advertise their games"

"Sony is advertising too much"

Make up your minds. Lol

Sony puts much effort in the marketing. Hopefully this game deserves it, unlike Sony's other recent efforts (looking at you NMS and Pro).

I'm still sceptical because of the Devs previous games. Would be cool if this game turns out to be something special.

Are they that confident that the game will be amazing?

After what happened with NMS it would be rough if they went all in on this and the game was a letdown.

What I do really like about their strategy here is that these items are all available separately. I'd have a hard time justifying buying an LE version of a game I don't know anything about... but if I love it I'd totally be down to buy an art book or that statue.

That statue looks really, really cool.

Problem is they don't have anything iconic to use yet, since it's a new IP. I'm sure there will be some symbol that serves as a relevant marker for the game at some point.

Oh, Titan Publishing! They made some amazing books for the Elder Scrolls series, hope this artbook will be just as amazing!

I kinda figured they would, at least, do an art book and maybe a figure, but the wallet, key chain and baseball cap sound a bit overboard to me. Then again, a lot of franchises have had material like this, but those series are normally hugely established before they get into this kind of thing.

The art and designs are great so why not?

I'm just saying I was expecting an art book, figure, and designs, which is great, because the art has been great from what I've seen and I like art books. The whole mugs, key chains and baseball caps is where I'm surprised, because the game hasn't even gone on sale yet. It certainly shows Sony is banking on the game being popular if they are producing much more than I expected far as merchandise and accessories.

Oh yeah I agree.

This is their next major IP.
