Switch up on Amazon.de - 329,99€

Contacted Amazon FR again today and the rep guarenteed release day delivery. Also for some reason they knocked off the cost of shipping which was very nice of them, yet confusing! Still, €350 for the console and Zelda, with free delivery for release day. I can't complain.
What exactly did you write?
Did you choose standard shipping?

Spanish MediaMarkt has the Switch now for 288€:

I wonder if amazon.es will pricematch it.

Fuck yes! But in the website it still says 319e :(

Edit:
Also it says sold out so I'm thinking this is for second batches way after launch. Probably they want to secure a lot of pre-orders for when they receive more consoles.

Might also be that it´s for specific stores only, like it´s often in Germany with MM and Saturn.

WHAT THE FUCK???

why are we in Germany forced to pay 329??
We got the monies, or at least that's what everyone thinks. If you don't have the monies: Buy at an online retailer in Germany, order at Amazon.fr, play your launch unit and send the french one back to the German retailer. Dunno if packaging etc ist universal though but i guess so.

I love it so much how Amazon is starting to lifetime ban people from their service for abusing customer rights. It's always amusing to see them argue doing nothing, nothing wrong. Sure, in no doubt there are cases were someone is getting screwed over - no system is perfect. But for the rest ... I couldn't be any more happy.

To be clear, not that what you're suggesting would get you in trouble with Amazon in this case, but just putting it out there.

Hmm, Gran Canaria last minute at the beginning of march doesn´t sound so bad haha.
Hows the weather and sea temperature?

Amazing weather.

Can't find that catalog anywhere on the website for the Canary Islands, the latest is this one, and Switch doesn't show up.

Edit. Been told is from the Canary Islands catalog indeed. Dream is over unless you want to have a nice weekend on the beach and the volcano.

If I have a Switch preorder on Amazon.fr am I still getting it event if the store page says it doesn't ship to my country anymore?

Can't believe that this would actually work. Don't they check EAN or ISBN?

From where did you order? I ordered from Austria and i could only select standard delivery from amazon.fr.

Some weeks ago I ordered a Nintendo Switch from amazon.fr with no problem.

But now in the product page it says they don't ship to my country.

But my order is already in, so I'll have no issues... right?!

You should be safe. Don't cancel your order or anything.

When they released the Zelda bundle I emailed them about the price of the separate items that didn't match. They said I had to cancel my 2 items and order the bundle. And to apologize they offer me the one day delivery. Yay.

Same thing happened to me. Contacted them and was told that it was only restricted for newer preorders.

I really wonder why we have to pay 329 Euros in Germany while the Switch costs only 299 € in france. :/

Because Amazon.fr price matched FNAC.
If you know any retailer that has been discounting the Switch in Germany, you should contact them. I remember the rep giving me a link a while ago where I could fill info on where I saw a certain product at a lower cost. You need to be accurate though.

Hm, yeah, I will try that if I get a chance. Thanks. :)

So Americans pay ~280EUR for the same thing Europeans pay ~330EUR? I hope that isn't Nintendo's SRP, otherwise the Switch will drop like an egg. Heck, 330 is more than half the minimum wage in Southern Europe and I imagine the situation isn't much better in the East.
