Yeah. At least past administrations supported discriminatory actions did it with coded language or quietly behind the screens... and usually subtler stuff like housing laws or getting tough on crime. This is brand-new territory and incredibly out in the open, no fucks given at all in a way no one imagined. I don't see how anyone can defend this. It's literally: let's go easy on domestic mass murderers with clear agendas to harm and kill certain groups.

I don't think anybody could have foreseen how blatant this all is or how fast it's coming.

It feels like prep work, recreating the status quo for truly frightening things down the line. And at this rate, down the line is not to far off.
 
Well at leas the Trump admiistration wont have to worry about taking in Refugees soon, the refugees will be people fleeing America.

I'm not the sort of person to usually think doom and gloom, end of the world, its not the worse case scenario, but I really dont see the world lasting another 4 years as it is, I really do believe Trump and this administration is really going to kickstart something that really sends the world into chaos.

Europe wont stand for this sort of administration; he's blatantly ignoring local law, has already said he really couldnt give two fucks for anything happening in Europe or will adhere to International law or pass treaties and alliances, has managed to piss off every world leader he nas spoken too.....if War was to break out, fucking I dont know where the battle lines will be drawn, it'll be a goddamn free for all; Europe in one corner, Russia in another, China in even another, the Middle East will implode......I honestly do believe that we're headed for a world wide head on collision. The US has usually been powerful enough that many other big powers think twice because they know they will face a coalition, but with everyone being further and further isolated, its only going to take one wrong move and its going to be an almighty chain reaction....

Another stupid move that will backfire down the road. This shows that the White House does not view white nationalists as a threat. When said WN perform another attack or bombing, this will all come back to the White House with fingers pointed at them.

This is a short term play by Banning and friends but it's short sighted and just further allows their base to radicalize without fear. Which will only further speed up the timetable on another Timothy McVeigh and there will be no "blame Obama" or "blame Muslims" to hide behind and it will be in an era where the WH openly said that there is no threat of terrorism from these people.

Just dumb.

Yep for once I honestly think doom and gloom is actually a realistic fear. All hell is breaking loose and I've basically stopped caring about anything.

You don't give them enough credit. They will place the blame on others. It will be at Obama for inciting racial tensions. Or they will say how it's because God is being taken out of country, or how those poor men live in constant fear that Radical Islamic Terrorists will being killing them and their family any minute now, and it's why we need to taken eve stronger methods of keeping them out.

It will never be the fault of a White man, the poor lone wolf soul that was abused in their youth and has psychological issues that need treating.

Right now the discrimination is to Muslims which there are only 2 million of in America.

I mean the fact that we have this thread says otherwise. you are coming up with a scenario where something is just so awful that it shakes Republicans to their core and they realize, maybe we were wrong.

I disagree that will happen. Or at the most it will have a short term effect but put us back right where we were. They just don't think that way. They can't because they deny their way of thinking favors one race in the first place.

But sure, we can agree to disagree, because frankly, I don't want that event to happen to prove either of us right.
