Well, considering you are 1000 times over more likely to be killed by a White person with a gun than you are even seeing an islamic terrorist in your life, it's pretty fucked up.
America has it's priorities straight you see. Blame the people of color, even if it means more deaths on the streets because it's the American way.
I am tentatively playing around with the idea that America may be the first country in the 21st century, and certainly in military history, to successfully wage three separate wars against three different nations.
They're going to be staging police actions or surgical military strikes in Mexico against cartels without the Mexican government's permission, they'll be moving in on Iran, and they'll be conducting a naval war against China in the Pacific and South China Sea.
I believe realistically, they have the military infrastructure to reasonably win all three conflicts, probably without even needing to re-introduce the draft, but the toll on American morale as these wars drag on will be enormous.
Funny i went to google to see who was reporting on this to find this title.

Well, I'll take the ban then, if the mods decide it's ban-worthy, but until then I won't weep for them. Like I said, this isn't some isolated incident. All those Trump supporters who were all about Trump never come into these threads about the dark shit that he's doing. Never. Me calling them cowards in this one thread hasn't stopped them from participating in the 10,000 or so threads that have popped up since Trump was elected and has enacted all his stuff.
I welcome any discussion. I welcome anyone to come in here and try to defend any of this shit. But I know it's not going to happen, because it never happens. They never come, because they either know there's no real defense for it, or worse, they agree with and don't give a shit anyway. But, like I said, keep dying on your hill for these people. I'm sure diablos, Joey Fox, and Baracka have tears in their eyes.

If they have reasonable views, they should be able to express them, I'd love to hear them. There are Republicans that post on GAF daily. Maybe the reason they are afraid to post is that they know their viewpoints are so shitty, there really isn't a conversation to have on gaf? If so those same people shouldn't cherry pick the threads where they can drop in and say, see Trump is great, but then be pissed when people bring up the things they have said in the past or call them out for ignoring all the other things he does.
But I certainly have no problem with a Trump supporter having discussions if they actually admit to agreeing with some of Trump's policies. Let's have that conversation. There are mods decide when bans are appropriate after all, unless you are saying they are banned unfairly.

You don't have to like everything that they do. I don't understand why this is a hard concept to grasp for people. I see this shit all the time on Facebook.

Actually, I wouldn't say three victories. I would say three successful, ongoing conflicts. I don't think the point of any of these wars would be to "win" in the traditional sense of occupying a territory, or forcing them to pay reparations once the dust has settled.
Mexico is just going to be constant incursions into Mexican territory to ostensibly kill drug lords. That will never, ever stop. The China war is just one to keep China contained within the Pacific and South China Sea. That's just essentially a blockading action, and that will never stop either. Iran is going to be Desert Storm all over again, with a decisive conventional military victory, followed by years of occupation and Death Of A Thousands Cuts through the loss of peace keeping forces due to guerrilla tactics.
In none of these scenarios is the outcome to actually win a war, merely start one, then keep it going. They can do that without a draft.

For someone not dying on a hill, you sure are pushing this hard. But again, I welcome them to come. I'm not stopping them from coming, none of them are being stopped. I was simply stating that they won't come, and we all know why. If someone wants to be 'part of the discussion' and 'be understood,' then let them come. But they won't.
I'm not sure what they expect out of them, to be honest.
Again there is no justification for this. So there really is no need for a discussion with them.

The "don't know each other" thing is a bit outdated, with the internet and social media there is almost no excuse for the stupidity. This is willful ignorance today.
I heard his daughter speak about today's situation at an event and this was the main speaking point she used. Did not particularly agree with her, as she used the "love your enemy" thing, but that is actually taken waaay out if context these days. You can and will have people you clash with and who may be unpleasant and oppose you, you should strive to find peace with them. But when its systematic? Or its set up through an anathema construct, thats not something to baby up with mercy. You hate that, you fight that with justice. This hate we see today is not rational, its not normal.
There are a few that may be earnest and won't do research, but thats not my destined responsibility. I nor any other should have to explain to these people the golden rule.

That was in a more civilized age where it was petty attacks making for a leftist lean. Yes, i felt that too.
But we do not live in that age any more. Muslim Bans, walling off mexico and a KNOWN white supremacist in a gullible presidents ear is MORE than enough reason to see this.
Quite frankly, im at the point where i feel that there are three kinds of american conservatives in my mind: those who didnt vot for Trump, those that got suckered or toe the party line, and rascist sacks of shit who aint worth the horseshit dribbling from their lips. The first is fine, the second better be repentant, and the third can go to hell.

I'm actually Canadian not American, but I believe that retaliations like what you're talking about merely reinforce the "war economy" idea that Bannon is trying to start. If 9/11 is any indication, an Iranian retaliation is going to galvanize Americans into wanting to go to war.
As far as China goes, pride absolutely is a factor, especially with regards to Taiwan. China is currently not a match for the US in the military department, but again, if "Them Yellow People," start getting all uppity with an administration and a voter-base that is motivated by hate and xenophobia, these merely reinforce the idea of continued war, not defuse it. Striking back through a trade war will certainly hurt America, but the voter-base that put Trump in place will merely double down, blame the Chinese, and redouble efforts.
It's only if nukes enter the equation that everything goes pear shaped. Otherwise, keeping a conventional war going is one feasible endgame for the current administration.
