Oh it should absolutely be mocked. Why would anyone actually fearing for their family's livelyhood vote for a guy that will literally send that livelyhood to the trash, fuck up the economy , benefit only the rich and corporations, and abusing minorities to boot?
Fearing for the livelihood of your family is not something to be mocked. But being so absolutely short-sighted, ignorant, and gullible enough to believe Donald Trump is going to fix it? That's pretty laughable.
I like when Trudeau said something about Canada remaining a positive influence on the world stage (or something similar). I bet that got under Trumps skin.

I feel like I got very little from watching this, unfortunately.

What's with this economic anxiety thing? I've been seeing tons of people sarcastically asking if someone has economic anxiety as if it's not a real thing lol
It's literally like "You afraid of losing your job, home, and everything you've worked for? haha"
Imagine how it must feel to be an overweight, orange, balding buffoon standing next to the adonis that is Trudaddy.
"...So you voted in a fascist who isn't going to help you losing your home or protect your job because of automation, while making sure education levels in the USA remain low and out of reach of your dumbass because you don't care if other citizens lose their civil rights..because he's a conman who won't release his taxes and cares more about plugging his daughters fashion line than any Joe dirt in this country" etc.etc.etc.
Can't separate economic anxiety meme from voting for a bigot and the man endorsed by white supremacists.
A whole lot of people value themselves over entire demographics of people. In short, fuck them. It will be sorted once people remember to show up to poles. And trump is doing better for the dnc in that regard than the ever could. The majority of the country has common sense, which is why h. Won the popular vote. But a hand full of backwards morons don't represent this nation. They will gain nothing under trump, and will likely stoll vote for the party of racism because that's what they do. So hopefully people understand that voting does matter, and both parties aren't the same. That delivered a victory more than fascist rhetoric did.
Education could help these people. But they literally voted against opportunity. You have to adapt. They aren't willing to.
There's something kind of odd about a post regarding education being filled with so many errors.

People claimed "economic anxiety" was the main reason people were voting for trump when his base was primarily older relatively-well-off middle/upper-middle-class whites, so whenever trump or one of his supporters did something transparently racist during the campaign, people would wryly say something about "economic anxiety," when the real issue driving votes was racism. What's with this economic anxiety thing?

So you'd give up your way of life to rescue a person in any third world country is what you're saying then. Because you're capable of doing that right now if you wanted to go volunteer some places. Or does the use of that phrase not extend past the simple effectiveness at discounting arguments by "exposing" them as bigots?
You can worry about your livelyhood without being a piece of shit.
