But I can't imagine even the most loyal member in the party would be willing to stick around if there was definitive proof of treasonous activity. Next time you're up for election all your challenger would have to say is "Hey, did you support that guy that committed treason?" It's the highest crime in our political system.
I'm racking my brain to even imagine how much of a disaster this would be for the office. Even if they didn't nail down Donald with this, having so many people from his inner circle involved in conspiring with foreign govt to swing an election...it would be one of the biggest political stories of the century.
