You also don't actually need an impeachment. Congress or a majority of the cabinet could simply declare that as he has likely been compromised by a foreign power, they can invoke the 25th amendment Section 4 and remove him from office, That would make Pence president, with Ryan next in line.

Her "Alternative Facts" statement put her on the shitlist of basically every legitimate news organization in the country and she's done nothing to further damage her position since then. Her efficacy is rapidly diminishing now that she's already had multiple high-profile instances of openly lying.

Think about her performance in the last three weeks. "Alternative Facts", shilling for Ivanka, manufacturing a terrorist attack, and the "Full Confidence" statement about Flynn. Her brand is almost worthless now.

Huh. That's interesting. Though, I assume if it actually came out to that, the GOP would want the full pomp and circumstance of a Impeachment Hearing to make it look like they're being watchdogs and try to cut him out as cleanly as possible in the public eye.

It's true insanity.. I have read a lot of how Watergate happened, but I feel like this is Watergate on overdrive.

It all goes back to two points.

1. Calling the press the opposition party.
2. Throwing the IC under the bus.

Both of those IMO are making this Watergate 2.0 Turbo.

How's the media going to be done with someone that brings in viewers? Anything that comes out of her mouth is insane and they'll all want to have her say insane shit first on their stations.

I had a feeling prior to the elections that if Dump were to win, the media would love him and his people simply because of ratings.

I hadn't considered that. He would have had access to any information on Trump's relations with Russia. It sounds like a novel, but if Obama dropped a Martyr Grenade before he left, he truly is the best president we ever had.

I think they'll cut her loose as early as tomorrow in the hopes it will eat some news cycles and stem the bleeding at least a little bit. It won't work though, this is so much bigger than her violating ethics rules.

Well an ethics committee is reviewing her actions in regards to pushing Ivanka's clothing and the Bowling Green Massacre.
 
What would happen to Trump if this reachs the point to where he is impeached? Does ge goes to jail or just leaves the presidency?

Scapegoating Obama for the mistakes of the Trump administration is the way Republicans and Republican sympathizers like Limbaugh plan to appropriate Trump's legions of racist rust belt voters to remain engaged in the political process so they can kick the can again in 2020, 2024 and beyond. They want to keep them energized and fueled with the mistaken belief that the evil black man has ruined their lives and taken everything away from them.

Obama is just a symbol to them that can be demonized. Nothing more.

Trump didn't pick sessions out of s hat. To my memory they dropped multiple EO's sessions first day on the job.... officially.
