I'm surprised Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov hasn't been given a polonium sandwich seeing how he told Interfax right after the election that "quite a few of Trump's entourage" have been "staying in touch with Russian representatives" throughout the campaign.

But he did not undermine them, according to the NYTimes article I shared earlier. The Obama administration contacted the FBI to ask whether or not Flynn had negotiated anything or promised anything. He did not.

In fact, Flynn didn't negotiate at all, according to the NYTimes.

The Obama officials asked the F.B.I. if a quid pro quo had been discussed on the call, and the answer came back no, according to one of the officials, who like others asked not to be named discussing delicate communications. The topic of sanctions came up, they were told, but there was no deal.

What has happened here is the IC have examined the backgrounds and discovered the FSB links. It's not that different than people looking back at this image in hindsight.

It's a long reach to accuse Trump aides of knowingly colliding with Russian intelligence. Anyone who is suggesting that is being unreasonable.

People say this, but I never hear anyone say the logic behind that. Yes, Pence is bad, but not as bad as Trump. I hope both of them are out though if this goes down.

You could argue, however, that impeaching Trump sooner will allow the current anti GOP sentiment to evaporate very quickly.

I agree about the wealth link back to the Kremlin. But are we now saying any wealthy Russian interested in politics is practically a Russian government official? Or worse, an agent? Is Rex Tillerson a sleeper agent?
