Also same here. We'll see. I have a second preorder from Otto which is also in preparation for shipping right now. In any case the second Switch is already reserved for a colleague ^^
On a sidenote: Since this is a thread about German Switch orders and deliveries with posts only from German people so why do we speak English in here? Is this part of NeoGAF's TOS?

I like to think its everyone here accommodating me as a new person to Germany with currently mediocre German language skills. Just like in the outside world.

My order is through Amazon Prime, I went with the express shipping and am currently seeing

Switch:
Zustellung Freitag
Noch nicht versandt

Zelda:
Zustellung Fr., 3. März
Vorbestellt
 
Haha, pro controller and Zelda will be delivered today ("Zustellung Freitag - Wird heute versendet" which means they'll maybe arrive tomorrow) but the console is delivered separately and will not be dispatched today it seems ("Zustellung Freitag - Noch nicht versandt ")

edit: But then again, checking the details of the delivery, it says "will ship on march 2nd" for both shipments...

I think NeoGAF's TOS state that is an English speaking forum. Anyway, I recently moved to Germany and I barely speak german so I appreciate an English thread that explains how to keep my gaming in here.
 
Amazon is usually pretty good at getting stuff to me within a day, so I'm not worried about Friday delivery if they only start shipping tomorrow.

The only place to speak German at GAF is our reservoir at OT, where the last remaining German members are allowed to roam freely.
 
I just realized...if i arranged instore pickup with saturn, why would I get a delivery note for the console? Wouldnt they just use the consoles thex get, to satisfy the preorders? #laststraw

They are both on "will be dispatched today" for me.

Pro Controller still sits at preordered. I have Amazon Prime and didn't chose Packstation.
 
That awful feel when in the very last days you realise you may have messed up something about your order's payment method, but you're not quite sure and the website doesn't let you fix it... ugh.

This is why I shouldn't have cancelled my amazon.fr order :|

You'd think that to be the case, but from my experience, it doesn't work that way. I had several games that I ordered online for in-store pickup where I had to wait for them to send a copy from the warehouse to their store even though they had the game on shelves in that same store (I live fairly close, so I check their assortment often).

It's possible that they send pick-up oders in the launch day bulk shipping when you preorder, and that they don't send you a shipping confirmation in that case, but I sort of doubt that (especially since for my only previous online preoder at MediaSaturn stores (which was with MediaMarkt), the Fire Emblem Fates SE, I received a shipping confirmation email).
But either way, we'll see how it goes. I'll probably drive to my local store whether I get an email or not, and if they have stock available on the shelves I'm just gonna buy one of those and cancel my preorder.

- Randomly opening the Lieferung verfolgen page for the Switch
- Opening Thunderbird, hoping they send out a dispatch confirmation mail before they update the pages on Amazon
- checking my mobile phone for notifications from the amazon app

I have a problem.
