Pretty funny to see that Hermes' service is terrible all over the country.
They "misplaced" two games so far and it's always a gamble if they'll show up at all. I know their job is hell, but I try to avoid them whenever I can.
I had more problems over the years with DHL than with Hermes. Interestingly enough, Amazon sent my Wii U Premium Pack with UPS back then.

Saturn yes...
How can they decide today that it might not work out...I ordered on 13th January....
I will refresh my order page tomorrow, all day long.
So far, Zelda + Switch Case + Pro Controller are getting ready to ship to my local Saturn. Hopefully they are doing the consoles tomorrow.

I never have / had much trust in the capabilities of Saturn / Media Markt. They always feel like they have no idea of the stock they'll be getting, how much of it each location will be receiving etc.

The mail I quoted was from my local store, Saturn.de just messaged me that my order will be send out in advance but they can't tell how fast DHL will do it...
Don't know what to think now...
They always say "next Werktag" but I've never tried Saturday. This time, I will look past my German-ness and try to DEFY THE RULES by asking for my package on Saturday. Wish me luck.
If you're lucky they already have it ready to pick up if you come in juuust before closing time on the same day. No guarantees, but has worked in the past sometimes.
By definition, Samstag is a Werktag, so there's that ...

Saturn even has stock available on release day in their stores, they even put out an ad where they advertise availability on Friday.
Both Media Markt and Saturn didn't offer everything they get as preorders.

I also just wrote an email to amazon regarding the snipperclips coupon you get for buying a joy-con set. I bought my joy-cons on january 13th but if I visit the joy-con page it does not show me the "you bought this on january 13th" message anymore. so...before I don't get the 10€ coupon I want to double check that I don't have to cancel my old order and put a new one in.

My pre-order still says "Zustellung: 3. März" for everything that I pre-ordered, so I'm confident that I will get it on Friday.
I pre-ordered it as soon as it went up, although it hasn't dispatched yet, though it does say that it will get dispatched tomorrow.
Only two days to go, guys. I'm so fucking hyped. I have to force me not to write in all-caps right now.

Praise the amazing German efficiency of the Post for that.
I've seen some people in the UK thread got their Switches sent out via Royal Mail on Tuesday and being unsure whether they'll get there in time on Friday (which basically mirrors my own experiences with Royal Mail x_x).
Maybe the person on the other forum did have prime but selected standard shipping at the checkout? Mine has been saying will be dispatched on the 2nd of March for some time now.
I so hope amazon doesn't fuck this up, I've taken friday off, and going to get some junk food stocked tomorrow. The new console hype is real!
Yeah mine too. And I also have a day off on Friday. I just hope I don't get with Hermes because with them a timely delivery is hit or miss.
