You need to understand that at best they get rid of him, at worst they get him off the investigation.

This, however, is unacceptable. Wishing hell and misery on millions of people you know nothing about is an extremely ugly viewpoint to hold onto, plain and simple. You're casting your net so wide in your attempt to hate racists, misogynists, islamaphobes, etc., that you've also caught plenty of folks who have nothing to do with those abhorrent views in the crosshairs.

Don't let that type of loathing consume you, or you'll end up despising innocent and good people the same way Sessions does.

I know these times are turbulent and disheartening, but they will get so much worse if there's a constant stream of this nasty vitriol spewed at people who are on the same side as you.

I sure hope that wouldn't get him out of trouble. Pretty sure people at their level need to be accountable for what they say and if they forget, they still need to pay the price for willfully lying.

i think that some of these people are starting to realize that just because the russians fooled some methheads in the midwest with fake news and twitter bots, doesn't mean they fooled the entire IC

Is there a specific federal agency or office that would be appropriate to call and demand that Sessions resign? Will be calling my senators for sure.

I've been amazed what the GOP is willing to sweep under the rug but having the AG lie to Congress under oath is bad. Like really, really bad. Lying under oath is what Clinton was impeached for. And that was for a blowjob, not meeting with leaders of another hostile nation.
 
watergate literally took two fucking years to get to the point where nixon resigned rather than be impeached

it's been a fucking month and a half

We have enough of these posts.

People have already resigned from this administration due to failure to disclose communication with Russian officials. Michael Flynn was just weeks ago.

This could potentially cost Jeff Sessions his post as Attorney General.

You act like if Trump isn't taken away in handcuffs by noon tomorrow this was all pointless.

I'm not talking about Trump voters (though not all of them are terrible people either, even though they had a severe lapse in judgement). That post basically said anyone who didn't vote for Hillary Clinton deserves the fullest depths of human suffering. It's an outlandish and evil desire to hold.

Stage 3: Important things were discussed, but so what? Maybe that's even a good thing!

I don't think the administration would survive losing Sessions to Russian entanglement after Flynn. They have to hang on to him for dear life.

Sessions can't remember meeting with the Russians or doesn't think what they talked about was important.

This was during the DNC hack.
 
Friday: Flynn lied to Pence about Russia
Cynical Gaf: nothing is going to happen
Monday: Flynn fired
Cynical Gaf: Well that's nice but Why hasn't Trump been impeached yet!?!

It's been less than 3 weeks since Flynn was fired, these things take time and is methodical
 
He didn't say he hadn't had contact with the Russians in his capacity as a Trump surrogate he stated categorically, no contact between the himself and the Russians took place.
