I asked in spoler thread, but i'll ask here.

So, feeling like a dumb ass and I'm onlly at like my 7th shrine and I can't figure it out. I feel like I passed something that would answer the riddle..

At the Shee Vaneer : Twin Memories - there are a bunch of spheres on the ground. I assume i have to put them in a particular order but I'm missing something.
Go up the moving platform and look. You have to to copy one shrines layout to the other.
Really cool design imo.

One of the amazing aspects of this game is that I've done a number of things in shrines and quests which left me puzzled on whether the options I chose were in fact the right ones. The methods used weren't exactly normal and I continue to wonder if my solutions were unique or the only possible ways to do them.

Huh, I got all four, spoke to the old bloke on top of the temple and he said to go and find Impa, so off I went. Not once did it tell me to go to the statues to upgrade, lol

Weird, for me the only way to talk to the old man was to first upgrade. After upgrading he shows himself.

All's well that ends well.

I've tried coming up with alternate solutions to some of the more obvious puzzles. It's a lot of fun.

I have the Zelda.
I stayed up 5 more hours after this posting playing Zelda. I went tobed at 8AM and woke up at 12PM. HELP. SEND HELP. MY EYES ARE SHOT AND I'M GOING BACK TO PLAYING.

Fucking damn. This game will likely be my favorite game of al ltime. So good. Now I'm just exploring. Loved the Bridge of Eldin/Hylia so went to the bridge that looked like that first and activated the tower there, found a ranch and shrine and actually went to another east region without noticing and am just wondering around in a forest now. This game is fucking amazing. Going to try to loop back to the story mission since I want to do more but having a blast just being lost.

Btw does anyone know if you can get a item that tells how many Koroks/Shrines are in each region? I will likely never 100% this game but I'll damn well try. Its not happening unless I can break that down by region tho. I'm sure someone will have that up in a guide soon enough if its not in the game.

I can't think of a solution in the
Ruyo-tau
-shrine next to the stable north-west of the plateau.
Help!

Edit:
I accidentally dropped a bomb next to the glowing arrow sign and..well.

This game, guys!

I think that's why the game so far for me has been quite masterful. Even if there's multiple solutions to get something or somewhere they tend to still be Interesting or exciting in their own way. It actually reminds me less of The Witness but more of Infinifactory.

The game is really cool. VERY sandboxy compared to a lot of the open world games I've played. Not much focus on a narrative at all. Which I don't prefer one way or the other, but it's certainly different and I like it a lot.

It's my first Zelda game and I think it's going to be a success. I am on record as not enjoying puzzles in games very much. I will say though the at least in the first three shrines I played, I really liked them. It's probably once they get more frustrating that I'll get mad.

Hanging out at the old man's shack on the Great Plateau like I own the place.

EDIT: Spoilered just in case. And now unembedded for mobile users, gah. Just in case.

These clothes are also findable right there in the opening few minutes, iirc, so no spoilers there. I love looking like 'proper link', what with the green and all. In fact, he looks like SS link in this outfit, with the pants being what they are. And what's really cool is that these are the clothes
I beat the game in.

So is there a good way to dodge enemy attacks? I've just been jumping side to side mostly. Or backwards

Not sure if this is how it must be but...

If you see the attack is vertical, jump aside. If you see the attack is horizontal, jump backwards. I play it that way and it works for me.

You guys get the feeling the game world in this is larger than XCX? At first I was thinking there was no way but having traversed and revealed 4 sections of the map, now I'm thinking it might be.

My current playtime, via parental controls app. Guess this is the only way to track?

I haven't seen that weapon, shield or clothing. So thanks I guess?

Ended up getting my Switch and amiibos early last night at like 5:30pm! Unfortunately Zelda was not there, but taking a half day at work in hopes that it gets delivered before I get home so I can go home and play it.

so what's everyone favourite way to play this game

joyconpad, pro controller or separate joycons?
I have a pro controller, which feels surprisingly good, a lot better than the wiiU one

but I just love laying on the couch like a bag of potatoes with the separate joycons and no need to keep my hands together. aiming is cool, too, with them.

Would be detached joycons if I had a switch. Gamepad feels fine though.

Huh. Amazon dropped of the game just now.

Usually I get stuff pretty late from them. Sucks I cant play. Gotta finish a outline and have a test today.

In that bomb shrine there's a ball with orange bright lights on it. What do I do with this ball? I can't find any use for it but I am sure it's not there for nothing.

Did the first objective marker disappear for anyone else? Told me to look at my Sheikah State, I see the gold marker but then when I bring up the map again and it's gone.

I think that's meant to be a live demo for the player to understand the concept of how the catapults work on physical objects.

Is there a whistle button?

Yes it's the down button. Left is shield toggle. Right is Weapon toggle. Up is Rune toggle. Down is "tell everyone my location" toggle.

I have played for about two hours and thus far I love the game. I just had to see the user score on Metacritic and I was really surprised by it only being 7.8. Is it a bunch of troll reviews?

Ah maybe I'm hitting it without realizing.

Edit:actually looking at the controller, it's probably a sync issue. Either way. Thanks

It's the first set in the game. It was in previews and E3 walkthroughs. My understanding is that the first hour is fair game. If not I'll spoiler.
I must have missed them or something I guess. I'm a good 10hrs in now and I didn't watch the videos to try and stay as spoiler free as possible. It's not a big deal, I know there are a lot of various items and such. No worries, might have been my mistake.

Stupid question, but how do you throw objects? I pick them up with A, and even if I press in a direction to throw, when you press A again the item just falls behind his back. I've tried using L, R, and Z triggers, but he just drops the object instead of throwing it.

Those are the hylian trousers right? I got those. Where do I find the hoody? I wants it.

It's R. Not RZ.
