Yes, the conversations in this game were one of the most impressive aspects which I was prohibited from discussing in my preview. :-D(Cool detail 'spoiler')
"Heeey! Welcome! Thanks for coming by on".such a rainy day
I'm gobsmacked.
You have to have separate users on the system. Is there no way to have separate save files for both myself and my stepson?
I find them most easily bydoing a charge slash on long grass. You'll have to react quickly to grab them after cutting the grass away

Gyro, not IR (just like Skyward Sword, but with the bow pointing forward in the TP style, not in the Wii Sports Resort vertical style). But if you play with detached Joy-Cons, yes: rune powers, thrown weapons, and the bow all respond to motion aiming with your right hand alone. Otherwise, it's gyro aiming with the full unit (or controller grip, if you are using that) just like on the Wii U, but it isn't anywhere as comfortable.
OK that's good to know. Maybe the good folk at Outskirt Stable don't care much about that, haha.
By the way, is there a good way to make fire? I want to cook some food but there is no campfire nearby to light a stick on fire to use under the pot.
Just did this ball puzzle in Myahm Agana Shire and Christ that was some really really poor design. Forget the motion controls, the fact that the camera angle is so poor that you can't actually see the puzzle properly if you want to solve it is what makes it bad...Plus the camera angle also makes depth perception impossible.
Stuff like this I don't really understand and I question their existence in games because I can't see how it didn't get noticed during playtests. And I am still bummed out on not being able to rotate objects while using magnesis and not being able to aim my bomb unless I use lock on.

Yes that's the one.Is that the shrine where you have to lead a ball in a motion controlled maze?I just completely flipped the whole maze block over lmao
Forcing you to eat food from the menu to regain health is another weird thing in this regard. Is there an automatic way to regain health, or do you really have to start menu and flick through food every time you lose some hearts? My biggest complain so far is that you can't throw weapons away via the fast switch menu. It would make things so much easier and less frustrating, that whole menu management is really hurting the flow of the gameplay.
How are people feeling about the 98 Metacritic score? Agree or disagree? Is it one of the best games this gen?

What is that evil statue in second village...
Yeah I did the same.Is that the shrine where you have to lead a ball in a motion controlled maze?I just completely flipped the whole maze block over lmao
Yea I believe don't understand how anyone is suppose to do that bit at the end because you can't see the puzzle anymore if you want to get the ball moving towards that area. So you don't know when to stop.Is that the one just outside of a village you visit for a main quest?
It's awful. And if you walk while playing it the the maze can twist 360 degrees. I actually twisted it to the point where the ball would drop at the last maze section before the end.
It's so poorly designed, and whoever decided against putting rails across the length of the last section of the maze has to enjoy causing frustration in others.

Sorry if I sound like a clueless idiot, but is it supposed to be difficult to steer your horse?
If you have any flint you can put a piece next to firewood and hit it with a metal weapon.
You talking about Hateno, right?

While I am loving the game and the investment in the Switch for Zelda alone was worth it, I don't think the scores it has received are justified due to the technical issues and the poor IQ of the game. Some other games have had points docked for technical issues and performance, but I also understand that the under lying game is so good that some reviewers felt knocking it for graphics/tech issues was not worth it. I would never score it a 10 out 10 because that means it was perfect and technical/frame rate issues is enough to knock it from it being awarded a perfect game. I actually don't think of any game that I would give a 10 since to me no game is perfect....but Zelda does come close as do past games like Shenmue, Phantasy Star (Sega Master System), Halo CE,
Within an hour of starting the game the first thoughts were "I wish the Switch was a but more powerful" because the game is so damn good, if it was a more powerful console it would look even better. For me the biggest thing is the shitty shadows, poor AA and the inconsistent frame rate. If they could manage to get it to 1080p it would help with the IQ.
To me it is one of the better games of the current Gen, but not a 10/10.
