Find some flint, drop it near firewood and strike it with a metal weapon. It's gotta be right on top of the fire though or the spark won't do anything.
Surely any answer to this is sort of a spoiler?
Also, random question but is there an easy way to make fire? I keep running out of arrows and all that means is the second I find somewhere to cook I can't cook anything, because the fire is extinguished.
I'm not sure what you really mean here. You can see the Kakariko tower from the plateau. So I think I missed the tower in the Kakariko area beauseany points as to where I need to go with that?I got the one in the village where you're sposed to get your Slate fixed and got the Shrine Finder.
I need some advice on where to go next as I always end up getting a bit directionless in open world games. I'm a bit overawed due to the size of the land.
I've got 5 hearts and had my stamina updated twice.
I've got the slate updated and got one of the memories.
Where do you reckon I head next? I couldn't get across the mountains in the east and just ended up nowhere on the edge of the map and now I'm floundering a little bit.
Zora, north of Impa village/
Ok...I'm about to lose my mind. I am trying to find raw meat in the Greater Plains area so I can cook the recipe. Boars just run away, I read you can find some at campsites, but I have not found any.
Any idea where to look?
I thought that's where I was going but there was just mountains and a river. I followed it and just ended up no where.

Does anyone know if the Wii U version works with the Classic Controller Pro from the Wii?
I tried to look it up, but I'm seeing conflicting reports. This image indicates that it doesn't work.
But this one indicates that it DOES work.
Granted, I think these boxes are from different regions, but the controller options wouldn't be different from region to region would they?
Should still be on the path between the stable and the village.Wish it wasn't Sunday, I wanna play all night and all day tomorrow. But I guess I gotta work too sometimes. At least the first version of my thesis is now getting looked over by a teacher, I can play all night when I get home from work.
Anyone know where I can find the dude that trades my seeds for upgrades? I didn't see him on my way to Kokokokorokokoko Village, and now I can't find him anywhere near there.
Using your mini map pointer didn't help ?

I can't kill those, they're too cute.Try foxes, they should die with one arrow hit.

No.
I couldn't get to the yellow spot due to the mountains, so followed them across and ended up all the way on the right of the map...
I've been thinking about this too, trying to analyze what exactly makes it so special. No easy task. I think it's the sum of all little things. And the physics. I think the sandbox verticality makes it stand out too, you travel huge landmasses like in other open-world games but you can also play around and climb on basically everything, the paraglider gameplay is super versatile too, and the shield-snowboarding. Just Cause combined with The Witcher 3, with Nintendo's playful touch, kind of.Woke up this morning, immediately hopped in. Told myself I'd maybe just do a shrine or two... almost 3 hours later, I've done that, and so much more. Although I'm only 10 or so hours in, this is quickly becoming a GOTY/GOTG contender. I'm not sure how they did it, and it's all I can think about. Open world games are going to be forever changed by this. As much as I loved TW3, it now feels like a connect-the-dots game compared to how organic, natural, and discovery-heavy BOTW is. I'm blown away.
They don't? I find it REALLY hard to believe, the sticks of the U Pad do... and some games use them, IIRC (I'd say the browser does, too)I don't know, but I'd assume it doesn't work sense the sticks don't click.
YeahAre the Ancient Springs/Gears/Shafts used for anything other than?those 3 rune upgrades
Where the heck do l find or make flint?Find some flint, drop it near firewood and strike it with a metal weapon. It's gotta be right on top of the fire though or the spark won't do anything.

Hey if someone has an answer to this DM me.
Do you get a upgrade to how many weapons you can carry?
And
Do you get some sort of logbook of recipes?
Climbing is the game changing mechanic. You really feel like you can go anywhere. The dreams of "see that mountain, you can get there" has never been more true than in this game.
