Boss spoilers

Holy fucking shit Thunderblight Ganon. That thing repeatedly kicked my ass again and again. Waterblight and Windblight were child's play in comparison to this monster.

Only 1 left.

Surely any answer to this is sort of a spoiler?

Also, random question but is there an easy way to make fire? I keep running out of arrows and all that means is the second I find somewhere to cook I can't cook anything, because the fire is extinguished.

Well, I meant no specifics or anything. Either a yes or no would suffice I think.

So I feeded a dog and eventually after the third snack he followed me but just for a few minutes. Can I somehow manage that he will follow me for longer?

So I think I missed the tower in the Kakariko area beause
I got the one in the village where you're sposed to get your Slate fixed and got the Shrine Finder.
any points as to where I need to go with that?

Both days this weekend I woke up at 7AM and played the game till noon. The only reason I've stopped right now is the system needs to charge and I have eye strain from playing so much, haha. The path to Zora's Domain was pretty challenging but in a really great way. I love that the game is actually challenging and requires some strategy.

I'm not sure what you really mean here. You can see the Kakariko tower from the plateau.

I need some advice on where to go next as I always end up getting a bit directionless in open world games. I'm a bit overawed due to the size of the land.

I've got 5 hearts and had my stamina updated twice.

I've got the slate updated and got one of the memories.

Where do you reckon I head next? I couldn't get across the mountains in the east and just ended up nowhere on the edge of the map and now I'm floundering a little bit.

Zora, north of Impa village/

Ok...I'm about to lose my mind. I am trying to find raw meat in the Greater Plains area so I can cook the recipe. Boars just run away, I read you can find some at campsites, but I have not found any.

Any idea where to look?

There's a person who sells meat hanging around by Dueling Peaks stable.

Try foxes, they should die with one arrow hit.

Does anyone know if the Wii U version works with the Classic Controller Pro from the Wii?

I tried to look it up, but I'm seeing conflicting reports. This image indicates that it doesn't work.

But this one indicates that it DOES work.

Granted, I think these boxes are from different regions, but the controller options wouldn't be different from region to region would they?

I don't know, but I'd assume it doesn't work sense the sticks don't click. It has less buttons to work with.

Wish it wasn't Sunday, I wanna play all night and all day tomorrow. But I guess I gotta work too sometimes. At least the first version of my thesis is now getting looked over by a teacher, I can play all night when I get home from work.

Anyone know where I can find the dude that trades my seeds for upgrades? I didn't see him on my way to Kokokokorokokoko Village, and now I can't find him anywhere near there.

So I think I found a running glitch, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. Hold Down to whistle and move forward. repeatedly tap B and you'll run without draining your Stamina bar.

Link looks like his hands stay in his mouth and spit is spraying out of his mouth while you run. I posted it on twitter.

Should still be on the path between the stable and the village.

If you are trying to cook the recipe for the old man, you can use bird meat instead of boar too. Birds die with one arrow so its much easier plus you can find them near the old man's house

No.

I couldn't get to the yellow spot due to the mountains, so followed them across and ended up all the way on the right of the map...

Ok, I got it
From River side stable, follow the road to the north.
Turn when you're near the castle at your right, continue east, the road should lead you to a new stable named Wetland stable. From there continue east and you will be at the entrance of Zora region: Lanaryu Wetlan. From there you should be able to go to Zora pointer on mini map.

Hey if someone has an answer to this DM me.

Do you get a upgrade to how many weapons you can carry?
And
Do you get some sort of logbook of recipes?

Is there any way to give the flower to Timo&Oselle?

Without spoiler tags because I have no idea on how to ask this question hiding part of the text, sorry. It probably shouldn't be a spoiler, either.

Woke up this morning, immediately hopped in. Told myself I'd maybe just do a shrine or two... almost 3 hours later, I've done that, and so much more. Although I'm only 10 or so hours in, this is quickly becoming a GOTY/GOTG contender. I'm not sure how they did it, and it's all I can think about. Open world games are going to be forever changed by this. As much as I loved TW3, it now feels like a connect-the-dots game compared to how organic, natural, and discovery-heavy BOTW is. I'm blown away.
I've been thinking about this too, trying to analyze what exactly makes it so special. No easy task. I think it's the sum of all little things. And the physics. I think the sandbox verticality makes it stand out too, you travel huge landmasses like in other open-world games but you can also play around and climb on basically everything, the paraglider gameplay is super versatile too, and the shield-snowboarding. Just Cause combined with The Witcher 3, with Nintendo's playful touch, kind of.

So apparently if your playing BotW on Wii U and you have your console set to surround sound then you never hear the voice acting. Gotta switch your console to stereo to hear it...

I was wondering when I would hear some voice acting about 15 hours into the game.

It keeps getting better and better. There are just so many things to discover.
Just a few minutes ago, I discovered a small island
at the south east of the map. First I thought, it would be a cozy little island with maybe on Korok seed or something. Boy, I was wrong.
As soon as I got there, the shrine quest started and they took all my stuff away and I was supposed to get several orbs to some altars. No weapons, no armor and lots of enemies - that was one hardcore survival experience.

Climbing is the game changing mechanic. You really feel like you can go anywhere. The dreams of "see that mountain, you can get there" has never been more true than in this game.

I intended to take a break about an hour ago, but every time I was about to put the controller down: "oh what's over here", "oh another shrine!", etc.

Randomly found out how to expand my inventory too.

GOAT game.

can anyone give me a hint to misko's cave?
the hint makes no sense to me, it can be literally anywhere

"The little twin steps over the little river. My cave rests above that river's source."

Are we ever getting the 30th anniversary Wind Waker amiibo individually in NA? Zelda is the only one I don't have(already have smash toon link). I was so close to buying the double pack during same sales but never did and now no one has it in stock.

I know I can import for $18-20.

Climbing has led to me dying atleast 20 times by this point. It's always been "huh, I want to make it up there, can I do it? *stamina runs out as I get near the top and I fall and die* Nooo!"

So good though.

Reached Kakariko Village. I was very impressed by the visuals and feel of the place. A lot of side-quest like stuff to do, some fun character dialogue and more.

I then decided to walk up the side of the village and come across a dense forest. Curiosity got me as I progressed inside to find a giant sealed looking plant. Great Fairy!

They nailed the character models. Great Fairy looks incredible. Her colours pop (in handheld mode anyways), she's very charismatic and even flirty with Link. I love how she's located in a dense forest with little puddles.

This game delivers in troves. Every minute detail is amazing. Puddles, foliage swaying in the wind, subtle audio cues. I'm truly in love.
