Three nights in a fucking row. This blood moon mechanic is fucking infuriating.

I'm trying to get a scale from Dinraal and I can reliably spawn him but every god damn time I get close that fucking blood moon shit happens and the instance is reset. Dinraal gone. Dinraals scales gone.
Make that 5. This is too easily replicatable to be a coincidence.

I meant like for example the Mipha-memory and voiced stuff after the relevant boss-battle. Any way to replay that in game?

I think its on the right most pane of the Quest window (press LT on the inventory screen and then scroll right). There's a list of all the movies there, although I'm not sure it includes every one of them.

To all you ex-horse owners:

(Location spoiler)

There's a 'Great Fairy' Shrine somewhere in the game world that will revive any horse killed by enemies or in an accident. She won't revive it if you kill it, so be careful. I'd tell you where it was, but that would ruin the joy of surprise when you eventually find it.

Did Eventide Island and the Labyrinth challenge today. Stuff like that is what keeps shrines fresh.

I also just did the Labyrinth. Very fun and pretty worthwhile. At first I kinda cheated and dropped into the Labyrinth from above, but I took a wrong turn and went all the way to the beginning anyways. Glad I did, would have missed 300 rupees otherwise :D

So I found the Horseback Archery range and it seems pretty difficult, 20 targets in under a minute, and they're pretty small and some of them far away. Not to mention you have to bring your own arrows for every try.

Yo. This game is TOO fucking good. Lol. Link controls like a dream. I'm about to reach the first dungeon, and the journey getting there—like fight or flight with the Linel(sp?)—felt like a dungeon it's damn self!

I can't waaaait to discover and explore.
Being able to swim up waterfalls, wow! What a game!!

can anyone check kao maka shrine to see if you have the treasure icon. I found two chests but I'm still not getting the icon and I don't see any hint of a third chest.

tons of stuff in that island, there are at least 4 very good items other than the main prize.

This is the best Xenoblade Chronicles game since XBX.

Discuss.

... Seriously this game feeds my Xenoblade desire so much. It's amazing how similar this game is. If you've never played Xenoblade X, I recommend it to everyone after finishing this game. There are things I like about XBX more and things you can tell Monolith learned and applied to this game.

This can't be compared to XBX, I almost broke that game in half when I got about 30 hours in, just snapped (wife had to stop me lol). It was a huge grind with minimal story as a reward.

I was really impressed by the NPC behavior today. I was at a stable and it started to rain and all the NPCs covered their heads and ran into shelter.

Then later I ran into a guardian while there were NPCs around and they freaked out and ran away, and after the guardian lost sight of us they commented on how scary guardians are. Then I got killed by the guardian, and when I reloaded the same NPCs got scared off by different enemies and had something different to say when I cleared them out.

And then there was an NPC who asked me a question, and when I talked to him again and chose one of the other options he commented on me having just given a different answer.

The attention to detail is crazy.

Beat a
Lynel
by using Flurry Rush only. Died many times, but after learning its moveset, he was no match for me.

Is there a headpiece for the Zora set somewhere? I found the leg piece.

Yeah, you can find it in a chest right the top of the
Lanaryu Great Spring - I swam up a waterfall to get there.
The chest is underwater amongst some ruins, it'll be obvious when you've found it.

Whew that Akalla tower was something. I didn't bother with the enemies there. Oh and I hate everything that freezes me.

Is there another larger village like Hateno? I found 4 so far but no other is as big as this.

Just scanned my Wolf Link Amiibo for the first time and to my surprise he had 20 Hearts. I did play TP on the Wii U, but not very much and I certainly didn't beat Cave of Shadows or have more than 5 Heart containers.

This happen to anyone else? Did they abandon the idea of having to complete Cave of Shadows in TP and just give 20 Hearts to everyone?

it's not just unlucky, it's bugged. I can't imagine any sane designer would say it's okay to have it happen 3 times in 10 minutes. Honestly, a sane designer wouldn't have this happen at all. It's not fun being pulled out of the game and your fight/quest/whatever interrupted to watch a scene you've seen before.

Are you maybe resting in a lot of fires for long periods? Maybe you're making in game time pass very quickly

I hate this mini golf shrine..

no idea but another user in this thread had the same thing happen to him.

Played for 4h30 straight, again. So many things I saw and did in that time.
Towards the end, I reached a place that reminded of the Lofoten Islands in Norway. It was after a small rain shower, and a rainbow appeared as the sun was setting. Then the shadows cast by the mountains nearby grew larger and changed the mood. It's started to get dark and more rain poured. How is it even possible? What's going on with this game? It's magic I tell you, magic. It's going to be difficult to go back to normal games.

Is there a generally accepted order for major areas of the game? I feel like the second area I chose to finish was much tougher than the first. Perhaps it was designed to be done later?

I did Gerudo Valley after the Zoras, and the dungeon boss kicked my ass for quite awhile, until I buckled down and learned the different ways of smacking his ass.

If I were to do it again I would do
bird, elephant, then camel.
Haven't done the other one yet so I don't know where it ranks.

In regard to climbing in the rain,
is there any items or gear that prevent slipping in the rain? Kinda getting tired of having to wait for the rain to stop while exploring.

I had one where there was a bonus section for a chest, broke ten weapons on it trying to complete it and still didn't get it. The worst thing was I hit it perfect a couple of times but the ball just bounces out of the hole like we're playing pinball or something. Really infuriating.

It's raining waaaay too much in Hyrule. I'm trying to climb this mountain but I cant right now cus its raining so I just have to wait for it to finish.

How do I find a quest for an armor set or something like that?
