Need some help. I'm about 8 hours in, and I still have yet to find a rupee. Not only that, I'm having trouble keeping any weapons. Even the Guardian Sword I picked up in one of the shrines outside of Kakariko Village didn't last long at all. Any tips?

Can I just start attacking shrines as soon as I leave the Great Plateau? I wanna up my hearts asap.
Ok, so I just reached the. What the fuck. How???Lynel
I'm confused about what to do on one of the Korok Trials.
I was taked with following the little guy on his trial without being seen -- So I did it, and he got to a shrine, and he stopped. It was over. So I went back to the first guy and he didn't recognize that I had done it yet, now the guy I was supposed to be following is nowhere to be found.
Is my quest bugged now?

My favorite ones so far are the ones that just give you the orb and items. The puzzles you need to solve and the side quests you need to complete to gain access to them are a ton of fun.
Yes, all shrines are doable except for the test of strength that will require you to prepare your body.

Really enjoying these shrines. They're like a greatest hits of dungeon rooms at this point. Still feel like some new tile sets and music would have been warranted but it's a minor point tbh
Can anyone give me a quick primer on fighting Guardians effectively? I did the little parry/dodge training shrine which I assume is supposed to help with most combat (though I haven't been practicing those skills, honestly) but I don't know anything about parrying the laser or really standing a chance. Whenever I get targeted I basically panic and run away or hide as fast as possible. I'd like to be able to stand a chance.
Probably.I'm thinking of buying Switch with Zelda and restarting the whole playthrough again. Btw I'm 25 hours in with 14 hearts and 1 dungeon done with WiiU version. Am I too crazy?

House spoiler
for anyone skipping buying a house, you need it for a secret shop to open
I don't think it takes place in the child timeline tbhWait, this game takes place in thetimeline? Then howChilddo the Zora know of Ruto becoming a sage and helping the Hero of Time?
I like the ones that aren't traditional shrines so to speak. The island and the two mazes were amazing and evoked feelings of Links Awakening and Zelda 1. The one that is completely shrouded in darkness. Also the mini golf one LOL I actually stood up and was golf swinging my controller. To think I've done less than half of them!
Also does anyone have any vague hints about how to navigate? Is there an NPC or village some where that contains hints? The Lost WoodsI have to many goddamn Korok seeds

Use runes more often - bombs and magnesis are especially good for combat scenarios.
Sell opal, rubies, other rare minerals to get rupees. They fetch for a lot and you'll replenish them (don't sell diamonds). Some enemies drop rupees too... if you fight the right kind.
Where can I get some Woodcutter's Axes? And do weapons out in the world respawn? I know the ones in towns do, but I picked up a fire sword somewhere and don't want this to be the only one.
Lookat the torches.

I keep hoarding all of my minerals with the expectation I'll be getting to some sort of crafting blacksmith dude at some point who will want all the things. It made buying a house a bit difficult since I mostly sold monster parts to get the cash. But I love having the house. I stash some of my nicer gear there so I'm not tempted to burn it on trash mobs.
Also, in regards to going through weapons like crazy, don't forget how great the Boko spears are, I'll snag one quickly and immediately throw it for a nice headshot. If I'm lucky the guy will drop his gear and I'll have his stuff too. Saves on arrows as well.
You've got to talk to the little guy at the end, it's such a pain in the ass trial. Basically, you escorted him, but he doesn't realise it, so he's all "Wow I did it awbymysewf!" and you get the quest completion and enter the shrine.

Weapons respawn, I'm not sure of one from shrine chests though. Wood cutters axes are usually found at stables, a better axe can be found atKara Kara bazaar.

Save your monster parts for a certain NPC! The reward is well worth it.
Yeah but once you get to the.two torches side by side there aren't any more
Put an ancient arrow on its eye. Its a 1 hit ko

Also, thetheme is pure magic. My lord.Korok Forest
The only item in the entire game that doesn't break is the Master Sword and even that sort of breaks.
