The reward you get at the end is a (weapon spoiler)
60 atk claymore-type weapon that was used by Daruk... I took it and put it in my weapon display at my house, I don't want to use and break it by respect for him :p

You can repair it by the goron blacksmith

:P

I accidentally came into a ton of money in today's play session

I got lost in some maze in the desert for like an hour and came back with loads of cash because every chest in there has like 100 rupees in it and there's tons of chests

and

*SPOILER*

A really nice piece of armor

Ooooh I know where I'm going tomorrow, I've barely explored that area coming to think of it.

Holy shit I've only spent maybe 200 in 20 hrs. I have 640ish now but how do I replenish ? I don't think I'll sell my diamonds

Go mining somewhere i guess? I went chest hunting around while exploring and have spend over 7k rupies already between clothes and other stuff already.

Are there any missable items in dungeons? I just beat the first dungeons boss and it says I won't be able to reenter. Any items you can't get elsewhere?

Damn. I've been predominately exploring in my playthrough and seemingly equally unlucky. Okay thanks for the heads up

If you have upgraded your sheika slate to be able to track almost anything, not just shirines you can go hunting for chests and ores, its fun actually, I've seen things man.. things in the world by doing that.

no, you get the unique weapons as a reward outside after you finish the dungeon. there are chest inside but nothign you could get elsewhere

Save before using the amiibo

Scan it, and open the chest

If it isn't what you want, just load your save and try again

That's kind of what I was thinking - so if I do get an item that I want, I'll have to wait until the next day to do the save spam thing again, correct? Obviously if I get an item that I want, I'll want to keep it.

Has anyone completed all 120 shrines and
found the temple it opens up as a reward
? I'm currently working towards it, I have 90 shrines done.

Finished the photos yesterday, got my
Master Sword
and did 3 beasts.

Since I've done around 60 shrines, I think I'm good on both hearts (1 in the second row) and stamina (one additional gauge), so I was thinking about tackling the last beast today and trying to take out the last boss.

I have a question to people who already finished the game (answer in a spoiler, since some people might get angry, I guess?) - when you finish the game, is the only way to continue playing past that loading your save before the last fight?

Finally got the timing to parrying that mini guardian, I used to think I have to press when laser travel, but actually you have to press the button exactly at start

Just met
Zora's Prince
but I don't think I wanna help him, yet.

I save scummed Horse Link and BotW Zelda for awhile and got crap. I don't think the BotW amiibo have special items. The "rare" items shown on the back of the boxes are just random stuff from the game. Except for a saddle, which I got, but I don't even think that's exclusive since it's the same saddle used on the official art of Link riding a horse (and the amiibo)

Yes, you can only scan a (non-Wolf Link) amiibo once per day

Also went there today.
The armor is part of a set. I have the headpiece and it's badass :P

Guys I'm never going to beat this game. It is so, so massive. There is so much to see. So much to do. So much to explore.

I can't believe how good this is. I got home from work around 6:30. It's 9:45 and I'm taking a break because I completely forgot to make dinner. Wolfing down a few bowls of cereal and diving back in.

This is a once in a generation game, folks.

Someone said that they ran across the entire world map in less than 30 minutes.

I think they are full of shit lol!

I spent longer than that just trying to navigate the Desert area!

Did you get all the chests? I can't remember anything especially good in the first dungeon but it can't hurt to check.

I think I got them all. Nothing amazing really. Just wanting to make sure tho. Lol

What's the best second dungeon tackle?

Is there any bad happen to NPC if we're not helping them when they ambushed?

I always help them, but not everybody know how to say thanks, rude! >:(

OK, coming up on my second Beast

how does 'end game' work? can you finish the story and then keep playing/doing shrines/etc?

it's a shame that they were not able to cenceal better the behind the scenes trick they had to use to make this run on wii U,like when an entire bull disappears in front of you because the game thinks you are not watching anymore...or how stuff just respawns in place after you move it.

I've been ploughing all of my upgrade orb things into stamina is this a sound idea? I figured most of the combat stuff can be done with skill. Also I'm probably gonna do every single shrine at this rate...

Found this on a wall, is the recipe real?

You need 13 hearts to unlock a certain weapon you might want.

Since I've been so busy and am still early in the game I decided to go exploring for a bit. I went back to the area where the Stable is and where I got my first horse. Decided to explore a little around and crossed some of the small bridges to end up near a tiny lake that had a really tall waterfall next to it.

Decided to climb up, found a rockslide that I could blow up - inside a small cavern with a surplus of Sapphire and Ruby chests, toasted hearty truffles and barrels with seared steak. Then noticed ANOTHER rockslide inside of the cave, blew that one up, found a chest with a Flameblade in it.

This game man. Exploring pays off in dividends.

I'll spoiler tag this just in case. I'm still within the first 25 hours though.

Is there some secret to finding the locations of the pictures to unlock your memories? I don't want any spoilers but it seems kinda crazy to try and wander the entire map until you stumble upon it. I only have the first one that was hinted to me (the archway along the bridge in front of a mountain).

You meet the same guy, the painter, several times

Yesterday I spend a lot of time just dicking around and exploring some areas. Today I made better progress by clearing a couple of shrines. This game is great :)

First dungeon
elephant
is better than any Wind Walter dungeon so I'm at least pumped about that. It's really brilliant but also quite short. Do the other dungeons up the length or difficulty?

Yes, talk to the white-haired painter guy. He wanders around the world, mostly on villages and stables.

Did 3 so far and they've all been really short. The one you did actually felt the longest, but I still have the
camel
one to do.

Wow, just finished the game. That was one heck of a ride, and I can't wait to play it some more tomorrow.

Mipha and Sidon are my favorite characters, and I would love to have amiibo of them! Nintendo, if you see this, make it happen! They would make a perfect two pack!

All of them are hinted by the painter guy you encounter in stables and villages

It's not at all needed, though.

Are you talking about the weapon or the requirement

Been hearing so much different information about unbreakable/repairable weapons in general, would be nice if there was a faq on the op or something

How does post game work?
Also, out of curiosity,
is the final dungeon long or can you just walk straight to the boss avoiding guardians
?
