Getting around is fucking unbearable. Is there an upgrade to the stamina meter or a way to get a horse early on?

You can get a horse the moment you leave the plateau. It can be the very first thing you do once you jump off, literally. Then just find your way to a stable.

So regarding map spoilers

Just found the rain forest/amazon place that wasn't even marked on the map. This game is so incredible, I just can't believe how many times I have to reiterate it haha. The dragon flying around with homing lighting blots protruding from his body was a nice touch. Unfortunately this was also the worst area performance wise for the game on my wii u for me. It was non stop raining (intentional?) and the FPS was probably down to around 10-15 at some points.

Alright all you horn fragment hunters out there looking to upgrade that champion's tunic I have a 100% guaranteed method of getting naydra's horn fragment. This took me ~3hrs to figure out so I really hope its useful to some one lol. Works best with 5 stam upgrades, the rito dungeon ability and the Mt Lanayru peak fast travel point (which you should have if you're horn fragment hunting)

1. Rest until night
2. Warp to mt lanayru peak
3. Climb to the very top and face the east gate
4. Wait until the clock is exactly midnight and jump towards the east gate
5. While you're gliding down turn the camera around and you should see Naydra spawn behind the mountain at about 12:25am
6. Glide to the hills next to the east gate overlooking where the lynel spawns
7. Land there and position yourself so that Naydra heads right at you
8. At about 2:05am Naydra should be close enough to you that you can use your rtio skill to go up into the updrafts Naydra causes
9. Slow mo shoot her in the head and watch the horn fly out
10. Collect the horn which almost always lands in the river thing in the lanayru promenade just past the east gate
11. Warp to a town and go back to step 1

If you wanna know how to get Farosh's horn it's way easier

1. Warp to the Lakeside stables at the south of Faron by lake Floria / Ubota Point
2. Sleep until morning
3. Quickly run across floria birdge you should see farosh coming over the water fall
4. When his head is as close as possible jump off and use slo mo shooting to hit his horn
5. Collect it from the lake
6. Warp back to the stables and repeat

Still working on a solution to dinraal

From left to right, top to bottom, I still need to find
numbers 8, 9 and 12
and I have no CLUE where to look.

8, actual answer cause this one is lol:
Hyrule Castle, right near the end of the game
9, hint and general region:
Ask around the stables in the Akkala region, it's pretty easy to find
12: Don't remember where I found this one.

I stumbled upon the same thing about five hours ago just while doing regular exploration lol.

12 is
near wetland stable

Is there a way to get thousands of rupees fast?
Use your pins properly and each time you find a decently sizable cluster of ores or an ok amount near shrines, mark it accordingly. Then when you need money find all of the symbols you've placed on the map and start mining. Ore respawns and anything above Amber sells at a decent price

Can someone explain to me in detail how the
devil
statue works?
Someone said something about it costing 20 rupees, someone else said 100?
How much is it exactly and can you
redistribute all your stats freely every time you pay or is it pay for every single stat? I want to swap everything to hearts and then back again after getting the Master Sword.

You give the 'item' and get 100 for it.

He then charges you 120 to give back plus the option to put that elsewhere.

These 3 flying dudes are such a neat little thing! I had no idea shooting the different body parts makes them drop different stuff. It's a bit finicky though because you can only get one body part per spawn so if you miss the horn you gotta start all over again the next day.

Anyone else have
blood moons
happening frequently? I've had 5 in the past 2 hours. One which happened around 2 minutes between each other...

Can anyone help me find the
Great Fairy's Fountain
near
Kakariko Village
? I don't want to know the exact location, I just can't recall some of the hints I've heard in game. Something about the nearby shrines or something?

There's a sidequest for this provided by
the traveler who hangs around the goddess statue near Impa's place. I don't think it activates until after you've done the main story quest in Hateno Village, however (it might be sooner, but that's when I got it and I definitely talked to that guy upon entering Kakariko so who knows)
. It narrows down your search area pretty significantly.

There's also a villager in Kakariko who's also looking for said Point of Interest. (he usually stands near the pond with the 'goddess statues' If you talk to him he'll lead you part of the way towards the place, from there, you really can't miss it.

I love how the game handles the Korok seeds, btw. As each
bag slot
costs more than the last, a person 'only' collecting - say - 50 seeds throughout their playthrough doesn't only receive half as many upgrades as someone collecting 100. (let alone someone collecting many many more).

I'm surprised the lightning effect on other water areas doesn't apply to lightning strikes.

Also this game might instill a fear of lightning into me if I don't stop remembering to take off my metal stuff...

Decided to play quick (yeah right) before bed. Ended up exploring (w/ 12 min cold resistance) mt lanayru and finding naydra and getting that shrine. Then it got super foggy and I jumped off and landed near the sea. Found a couple koroks on an island and a
blue lynel
guarding a peninsula with some chests. He destroyed me.
Decided to go to the plateau for no reason. Jumped off into a canyon and did some mining. Scaled some cliffs overlooking Gerudo, and out of the corner of my eye saw some animals (thought they were wolves at first) lined up in a perfect triangle. Realized they were horses and the were lined up behind Big Horse! Mounted him, tamed him, died once to a
lynel who also went ham at big horse
then ran past him, avoiding another one and electric keese, finally getting to a stable to register DEMISE.

I found the fountain and paid the 100 rupees but from there I couldn't find the point of interest

Does anyone know the track from the "Life in the Ruins" trailer? The first part is from the
Rito Village
theme. Cant seem to find the rest :/

All mid to late game shrines are pretty much just awesome. Continuing the incredible puzzle design off Skyward Sword latter half.

And how you get to them sometimes is just as incredible. Clearly one of the key pillars making this game actually work so well.

what? doesn't the dude basically stop 50 meters before the PoI? there's literally nowhere to go from where he stops but forward.

To me he said "I'm too tired to continue, but it should but just ahead". (in reference to the fountain). The fountain is easy to find.....I paid the 100 rupees and took a picture then showed it to him. Then he says the point of interest is just to the east between two nearby mountains....and I couldn't find it

Got a chance to play finally for 3 blissful hours last night. This game is amazing. It's so smooth and playable, and inherently fun in a way no game has been for me in a long, long time. I thought I was losing interest in the hobby but Nintendo once again prove me wrong.

Now to get through another 8 hours of work before I can explore Hyrule properly; finally left the Great Plateau last night.

There should be
a trail leading off of Lanayru mountain. The memory is on there.

Oh crap, I moved on from The Great Plateau without defeating
the stone monster guy
anyone know where he's located in The Great Plateau?

Picking the biggest of nits here, but I'm not really a big fan of how so many shrines seem to be "blessings." I know they mostly come from doing major sidequests which often are as significant as puzzle-based shrines, but man, sometimes they're kind of anti-climactic. Like there've been a few hidden shrines that weren't THAT hard to get to and I expected to have another puzzle to solve, but then it's just a blessing shrine, and that's just boring.

I have similar feelings about the "test of strength" shrines, I'm so sick of fighting Guardian Scouts.

Just started and got off the great plateau, really digging it.

Story question because I wasn't sure if it was intentionally left ambiguous or just sloppy exposition, but
Is there a reason King Rhoam's ghost casually glosses over that all this stuff happened 100 years ago but Zelda is still alive?

Found some pics of the amiibo outfits. Going to force my friend to let me borrow his whenever I go back to the game to finish 100%

?????? So using Zelda Amiibo gives costumes AND items????

I am still early but I am a little confused on the backstory, can anyone confirm the following?

-Link, Zelda and Champions are from 100 years ago?
-The divine beats and guardians were from 10k years ago when that version of Link and Zelda defeated Ganon?

Also, is there anyone who is trying to fill out the encyclopedia by taking a picture of everything? Is there a reward for filling that out? Silly to have a cap on the number of pics taken (48) when there are 100s of weapons, animals, creatures etc... to take pictures of.

I believe both of your spoilers are correct, from my current understanding of the story.

I'm filling out the encyclopedia extremely often. I'm also annoyed by the cap they institute... When I first found that out, and had no mass delete (thankfully I haven't used it for actual pictures yet since I can just use the capture button on the Switch -- that would have been hell to delete just the encyclopedia pictures and not the "normal" pictures). That's one thing I hope Nintendo improves in a patch somehow.

To the stuff in spoilers, yes.

Is it possible to (dungeon):
get into the Gerudo beast before going to Kakariko village? It seems like I'm missing something. It looks like I need to bomb or arrow the feet of this thing, but nothing happens when I do. It just keeps obliterating me. Is there a story event that needs to happen before this?

You don't need to keep the photo, you can delete them and the photo will remain in the Encyclopaedia thing,

Wait, so is the
green tunic
only available with amiibo?

There is one in the game I believe, specifically for this game. The Amiibos provide the older games tunics.

I finally found something that tested my patience and temper with this game.
The damn stealth shrine in The Lost Woods. I kept getting to the part with the wolf and I'd lose the little shit. I finally got it, but I had to stop for the night because I was so frustrated. But on a brighter note, I got the Master Sword!!

NEED HELP. I think this is a glitch becuse neither I nor my bud can figure out why the cannon isnt working to take down eldin bridge. I have it pointed at the bridge, I drop a bomb in there and blow it up to avail. he says thats what he did.. so what am I doing wrong or is this a glitch? Ive tried fast traveling

Right but it's a little annoying to go in and delete photos right after I save it. Weird that there is an option to save directly to the encyclopedia without it taking space on your tablet.

I knew I would be ranging far and high, so I stabled my horses and set out on foot. I had previously viewed a shrine far off the coast and saw a peak from which I could glide to this shrine.

Bonus: this peak appeared to have another shrine.

While making my way up, I came across a verdant expanse in which two blue bokoblins were patrolling on horseback. I sniped one off its horse and rushed in to steal the steed.

After that I was evading their attacks while making the horse like me enough to attack with it.

Managed to win the jousting contest and made my way up on my new horse. Feeling good. Fed it some apples and played nice.

Nope. Narrrow pass blocked by a skull camp complete with 4 archer lookouts. Fearing for my new friend's life, I jumped off and proceeded to take out the sentries. Climbed the skull itself and managed to take out the higher-hp denizens.

Triumphant, I returned to my safe spot to share my jubilation with my new friend... But he was gone.

Just a fleeting moment of comraderie. La. :/

Did you wait for the guy to climb into the canon before blowing it?

You never need to go to Kakariko to enter a Divine Beast.

You may need the help of the local people however.

You need ammo for the cannon.

Specifically:
It's a story event. You need a certain Goron to act as a cannonball.

Am i doing this wrong? :D
