It's the same cutscene every time.

Yes, obviously. But i don't notice any difference around me. I ran around trying to find mobs but nothing then the normal skeletons.

So what does Blood Moon do? Resurrecting the monsters i killed before? Or bringing them back stronger?

The skeleton will always appear randomly at night. The Blood Moon brings back all the other monster, sometimes changing them for the colour above if you killed them.

Respawns all killed enemies.

Is there anything missable in this game? Main thing I can think of is
adding bosses to the compendium, which I already missed Waterblight Ganon, unless they show up again.

What about side quests and stuff though?

It just brings them all back to the best of my knowledge. The game will do it every few ingame days. It will also do it if you go to a bunch of different areas in a somewhat short time, likely to offload the state of the enemies.

I believe enemies "scale" based of the number of Shrines/Dungeons you have done.

Best way to beat
Lynel for the Zora mission
? I was expecting this game to be a bit more challenging but I'm getting my ass handed to me and I love it

Dodge and flurry. Shoot arrows when he backs away. Didn't find him to be too challenging.

Also, you don't actually have to fight him.

Well Skeletons always appear randomly at night. Since it was that way e.g. in Ocarina of Time.

So it does respawn the
"world" bosses
too, right?

I don;t think there are any important missables (I.E things that aren't just chests with some aroows or rupees or whatever) in this game.

You can buy compendium pictures so I don't think any of them are missable.

I haven't encountered any potentially missable side quests yet.

Man whoever thought to include the golf shrine is mental. Anyone know if i miss anything good from not getting the chest?

It's just a sword.

Oh shit yeah I forgot you can just buy compendium pics.

You're not meant to fight him lol
Of course if you really want to you can.

You can buy a random photo from any category that you don't have yet for 100 rupees each, so it's impossible to permanently miss anything important in the game. Seems to be another thing learned from Xenoblade X brought over to this game. I don't think there are any missable sidequests.

I brute-forced the
Waterblight and Thunderblight Ganon in their final phases.
I figured out some of their mechanics, but for the most part I was utterly clueless as to how I fight them. Did anyone figure out the "right" way to go about the encounter?

I wish this game had co op mode. be great to have a friend to run around with in this world.

Had a bloodmoon two times in one camp. I mean, the cutscene was cool the first time, but yeah...

I thought you just shoot the Waterblight with shock arrows, but the added water is freezable. With Thunderblight you magnesis his rod back into him and that ends that phase.
Bosses are pretty disappointing so far.

Man there's always something around the corner with this game. Just an all around embarrassment of riches for explorer types like me. I'm not normally into loot, but some of the magic weapons also look fantastic on Link.

I get bloodmoons frequently. Comically frequently. 2 or 3 times in a row sometimes. It's very buggy. If only they had time to test the game

Also it's unforgivable that they force a cutscene and will reset whatever you're doing (carrying a torch for relay? poof it's out. Riding a sandseal? poof it's gone. Fighting a world boss? Poof it's reset). There should be no cutscene after the first time and any monster in your immediate area should not respawn, it should only affect things not right next to you.

So are there really 900 korok seeds in this game? That would be insane. Is it worth tracking them down?

It's meant to feel like when you find a korok seed you're finding something that almost no one else will see. There's a reason what they pay for is so relatively cheap, because you're not actually expected to find most of the seeds.

Are there more than one golf shrines? I was pretty lucky (reading these impressions), I got a hole in one by flubbing the controller while trying to figure out how the controls worked

I got six in a row one time accompanied by some nasty graphical glitches. Fully reboot the game to fix it.

1. Yes
2. Well, not all of them obviously. Just keep an eye out for anything that looks odd as you make your way around. I've only found around 100 or so and I'm at the very end of the game just about, but this was more than enough for me to be satisfied with what I used them for.

The key to the golf shrine is that you don't need to swing the club all the way back. Just line it up and then quickly move forward. I hate all the motion control shrines, but this was one of the less egregious ones.

Why the fuck did they say that there weren't any towns or villages in this game when there are a bunch?

They never said this, in fact they said the exact opposite, it was just a dumb rumor started by "Nintendo is doomed" people because there were no towns or villages shown off in the early trailers/demos.

Unfortunately negative news spreads much faster than positive news, even if it's wrong.
