I feel like im going nuts, earlier I was making elixers that restored full stamina bar and gave me a little extra max temporarily. Cant figure out what I was using. Or maybe it was food? any help?
Maybe something with Staminoka bass? It's a high-level Stamina ingredient that most probably got a lot of if they cared about catching fish. Though not sure if you can make an elixir with a fish.

I feel they kinda missed an opportunity by not having the classic Kakariko Village theme with a new twist, like they've done with Zo
ra's Doma
in.

The classic Kakariko village theme is definitely there. Rito Village also has
Dragonroost
theme mixed in, which I love. The one I wish was present is Gerudo Valley.

Reposting my question: When a weapon breaks, it deals 2x damage right? and when you throw a weapon it also deals additional damage? So, if you throw a weapon, and it breaks, does it do even more damage?

I think it only does 2x if you throw it. If it breaks when you use it normally it does the same amount.

Man, can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. I traded some of my stamina vessels to that demon statue and got a bunch of heart containers. I could now go and get the
Master Sword
instantly. After I finished, I went back and traded the heart containers and got my stamina back.

The non-linear structure to this game is truly amazing.

Is there a better way to melt frozen ice blocks than to get to the location, start a campfire with wood and flint, and then light a torch? How well do fire arrows work?

Someone in this thread said you could find
an ancient helm
in one of the shrines. Any idea which shrine?

EDIT: I'm at 80 shrines and haven't found it yet.

Probably beat it tomorrow. All 4 Divine Beasts done, all memories found,
Master Sword
get, Ancient Armor complete. This is probably my GOTY unless Persona V can beat it, it has a tall hill to climb!

Just didn't do all of the shrines. 47 is what I did. Need to start Nier.

If you have a fire imbued weapon, equip it and stand near it. It just melts the same rate as wood and flint. Haven't tried fire arrows.

Played for five hours tonight. Amazingly only did one shrine. Spent most of the time just wandering around. Found a ton of Koroks; got about 60 now. Explored Zonai Ruins a little after wandering off my intended course. Beat a roaming Guardian with a mix of parried laser, bomb arrows and a Guardian sword attack.

Bought my house, about which I have a question: if I just threw items on the floor in my home, would they stay there or disappear? I know there are mounts for weapons, shields and bows but I'm wondering if that's the only way to store items. I wouldn't mind dropping off a batch of really good meals and elixirs for later in the game when the going gets tough. Would be useful if you could get a chest or a cupboard or something.

Completed the side quest of collecting restless crickets. Think I completed one or two more side quests as well.

Found my first memory -
Zelda discussing purpose in life beside the two little statues beneath the tree overlooking Hylia Bridge.
Was surprisingly easy to recognise while paragliding.

Only have the one in the western part of the castle left; figured I'd get it while I'm storming the place. I assume the final memory will just be a result of the story progressing once I meet Satan Ganon.

You need to go to Impa after the last photo memory near the castle so she lets you view the last ACTUAL memory

So I'm in Hyrule Castle. Something I found that made me recoil.

I'm reading Zelda's diary in the bedroom. She said "Tomorrow, my father is appointing HIM as my knight."

.......... Trick, I didn't ASK for this promotion. Defend yourself then-- OH WAIT.

You need to go to Impa after the last photo memory near the castle so she lets you view the last ACTUAL memory
Thanks for this tip! Was about to lock myself out!

Here is a fun fact, if you're trying to get specific drops from guardians like i dunno ancient cores?

Save before you begin attacking, their drop table is randomized each time.

Lol i have collected like 21 Korok seeds total and finally after spending them now im so used to the limited inventory just don't see the need anymore.

also i just noticed i have explored all of Hyrule (the towers) and just found 36 Shrines! Were do you find the rest? Weren't those like 100 😣

You gotta explore brah. Many of them are hidden either they still aren't activated yet or they are in caves or deep in a forest, etc.

If I remember correctly she goes home early evening for dinner, so your game ends. I didn't play hide and seek, I did tag, but she abruptly stopped playing shortly after I strarted the quest.

Edit, nvm :P

Beat my first Modest Test of Strength without dying. Took some defense and attack boosting meals and a couple of weapons, but I did it. Felt like a huge badass too.

Then I paraglided down to another shrine and saw that it was a Major Test of Strength and noped the fuck out. I'll need way better weapons and armor for that.

I know exactly where you are lol, I had the exact same reaction except I even skipped the modest one at first.

Just beat all the main quests and defeated Ganon. Parental Switch app says it took me 30 hours exactly. Nice. Won't go into spoilers but to put it short, this game was phenomenal. Best Zelda game ever made imo, though I am still off the high of the final battle.

Hated Skyward Sword and here I am sitting on the title screen wondering how the hell that team made something like THIS. Absolutely deserves all the 10/10 reviews and is a huge landmark for the entire franchise. Besides the shoddy framerate and mixed VAs, any flaws I have with this game are so minuscule that they don't detract anything from the overall experience.

Very excited to see how they follow up on this. Oh and the DLC too.

Just when I thought that having 14 hearts was more than enough and that the difficulty would mellow out now that I was stronger, a Lizalfos just whacks me with a powerful Moblin Club that would have killed me in one swing.

I found the modest before the minor....it slaughtered me first few goes, bu tI persevered and got it felt awesome. Then I did the minor and it was easy peasy, then when I found the major, I decided to just go for it and found it easier than the modest. Just got the rhythm down by that point.

I'm probably close to 30 hours myself...approaching the first beast...lol

I LOVED Skyward Sword. OoT is my favourite game ever, and Zelda is my favourite series ever. This may just be the top of it.

I loved Skyward Sword because it was just choc full of gameplay. TP was the closest to being lukewarm for me. It has amazing dungeons and was the most fully realised zelda game at the time, but it was really without its own character, and was just a sum of its parts, unusual for a Zelda game where most come to gather more than just the individual pieces.

I wasted wayyyy too long looking for the last memory I found. Should have been obvious too.

The one I mean was
the one that's in Hyrule Castle. Should have been obvious, the image looked castely. But I just didn't think they would do that. I was trying to get all my ducks in a row before storming the castle.

I spent almost the entirety of Monday searching for
populated areas, ruins, places near the Akkala tower
. Finally I started desperately searching for stables to find the guy that tells you where pictures are. Which of course I did not find.

On the plus side, I instantly recognized
where the final picture
was, due to all the exploring I ended up doing.

He tells you that one in a stable near Hateno IIRC

I'm afraid of reading this thread for spoilers, but I wanted to pop in and say I put about 8 or so hours into this game so far, I'm in my early thirties, and it's quite possible this is the best game I've every played.

I just spent close to three hours slowly making my way north because I wanted to do snow bowling. I had solve multiple shrines, climb and activate three separate towers, find the Rito village, buy the extreme cold gear, fight multiple enemies, steal and tame one of their horses, get lost, and accidentally climb a mountain before I finally got to snow bowling. So many different experiences in one play session and all because I wanted play a mini game, not even accomplish something tied to the main quest. Truly amazing.

Trotting actually makes the horse climb places it normally can't (up rocks etc.)!! Not as good as riding a deer, but still helps in some situations!

Fort Hateno

Nope, he is talking about the last of the 12 pictures. Visit the stable
on the eastern side of Hyrule field, near the swamps

I need to know how some of the horses I'm trying to get are supposed to get tamed, I'm trying with a black one but I just get thrown everytime, any non-spoilery tips please?

Also, I don't want to get any hopes up, can I mount a
stag
?

Everyone should cook under the blood moon.
Ohh... nice hint
