Allbirds - believe the hype, these babies are ridiculously comfortable.

These look amazing. Looks like they're only available in US and NZ though, or do they ship worldwide?

I bought some Adidas Tubular Invader strap shoes for everyday use and they're amazing. I got a second pair that I'll keep in tip-top condition.

Also, though I'm not that big on wearing athletic shoes all the time, I have some Nike Free 4.0 Flyknits that are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They almost feel wrong, like I'm wearing slippers out in public.

Bought my first pair of Free RN Flyknits recently and I completely agree. Feels like butter. Don't love the colorway I chose but it's a whole new level of comfort for me coming from Converses and casual/skate sneakers.

Actually almost bought a pair of these today in triple black. So you're saying that I should follow through. 🤔

Asics Gel-Kayano 22. They're a good running shoe that comes in a color that doesn't look like something a candy raver would wear.

I'm a huge fan of Rockport's Driving Moccasins for day to day semi-formal wear.

I don't have to wear dress shoes any more, so the ones from my last job will last me nearly forever at this rate.

I owned three different pairs of Reebok Omni-Lite Pump high tops. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

Next pair of sneakers I buy will be an Adidas Boost of some sort.

New Balance and Saucony. Ecco. Also like the Adidas "cloud" sole running shoes.

I used to be a big Rockport and Nike guy. Rockport's have slid down in quality I think...while competition is stronger...leather interiors are hard to find (or actually I am not sure they even make any. Nike is awesome, but the low and midrange is crappy, and you have to usually really spend (like 2X, 3X+) to be better than NB and Saucony IMO.

Look into goodyear welted boots if you want a pair that will last a long time with decent care (5 years at the very least).

1000 mile boots by wolverine, Redwing boots (iron rangers, etc.) are pretty good entry level with solid materials.

I found a black pair of 1000 mi at a discount shoe store recently for $70 recently. Have to force myself not to wear them everyday.

For sneakers i wear a few pairs of vans.

These are my current boots, Corcoran jump boots. Best boots I've owned in a long ass time and they look beautiful when they are broken in and polished.
Aside from that my go to shoes are low top air force 1's, chucks and non slip on vans. Also if you're wanting a pair of Dr. Martens spend the extra cash and buy from the "vintage" collection those are still made in the UK. These Chinese made Dr. Martens are shit mine fell apart after five years of regular use not worth the price tag.

I have a pair of Janoski Nike shoes and I really like them, I'm getting another pair if they produce a color scheme I like.

Nike (Jordan), Adidas, New Balance, Timberland, Clarks.

Pretty much only buy Nike Huaraches now, yes I would buy any or all again.

I have weird feet and have to shop around multiple brands and styles to find something that fits right every time.

If I could wear Vans and Chucks 24-7 I would.

Allen Edmonds. Beautiful pieces of work. But I like them so much I wear them very rarely, because I'm afraid to scuff them up. But I get envious comments everytime I've been out with them.

Dr. Martens. I have a pair of simple black docs. People say the quality isn't what it used to be, but these bad boys have been saying regular use for 4 years now, including in snow-and-salt city winter conditions and still look and feel amazing.

For casual wear I noticed buying etnies brand dumb skater shoes have been really great for me. I found buying them at fucking discount shoe stores in combination with them having double stitched soles, they haven't even seen an inch of breaking down and I actually think I've had them for almost 10 years now.

I think running shoes are way more based on foot shape and terrain preferences but you probably can't go wrong with ASICS or Brooks or the like.

Camper all the time. The styles don't always work for me but the comfort and durability is great.

Cole Haan for dress shoes. Also super comfortable.

My Red Wings are durable and they'll probably last me a decade, but I don't know if they're comfortable enough for me to buy another pair.

Pretty much all of the Adidas City Series are great but these are the pinnacle.

I firmly believe Blundstones are some of the best shoes/boots on the market. I love them.

They're pretty industrial looking depending on the style you get but the sole and the top of the shoe is all one piece, so you'll never have that problem with the sole peeling away. There are no laces, just two pull tabs that you can yank as hard as you want and they never break. They're also just the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

They remind me of a less streamline chelsea boot.
