If I had the chance I woudl buy Puma Mostros forever.
Comfortable as all hell IMO.
Those Nike look great!
I've been a NB guy since my Cross Country days, but their adamant Trump support has made me question if I will buy another pair.
So I guess I'm a free agent now.
I've been exclusively getting New Balance for years, but I'm going to shop around for my next pair. They no longer make the style I buy in the US, and the shoes do not feel as supportive as they used to. All for the same price or more expensive. Then there was the whole Trump thing. Fuck em.
NB definitely does not "support" Trump. They were against TPP and were in favor of Hillary's and Trump's position on it. The single out-of-context quote people freaked out about was specifically about Obama's support for and Trump's opposition to TPP.

I have worn these every day for 8 months now (roughly 8-12k steps/day) and they're still in perfect shape. When they eventually bite the dust (hopefully 2+ years from now), I'll totally buy them again. They're comfy, supportive, and go with just about everything.
Even if the company "supports" Trump, who cares? Companies don't get to vote, and unless you're concerned about how the BIG SHOE lobby is really making life tough for the middle class, that should not have a huge impact on a person if they find the shoes comfortable. For all you know, 99% of their employees vote Dem, and the one dude at the top vote GOP...would you really want to put all those people you agree with out of work to get back at the one guy you disagree with?
Sorry...dumb rant...some other thread has me a little too riled up today.
I'm wearing Red Wing Heritage Weekender Oxfords (they're actually derbies, but whatever) right now, and I like them a lot. They seem pretty bulletproof. I'd definitely by other Red Wing Heritage shoes/boots at this point.
Red Wings look boss. I've been eyeing this pair for a long time:

The only thing keeping me from a purchase is the price![]()
.Allen Edmonds. Very high quality craftsmanship, high quality leather, and they offer great customer service. You can get the uppers refinished, the soles, heels and cork inserts all replaced for like $100. They offer stretching for people who just can't quite get a size that fits perfectly. Lots of nice stuff.

Nike Killshots 2 from J Crew
White high top air force ones. Will always have a pair.
I really like Merrell's various Mocs, both because I'm lazy and because they're comfortable. They've definitely gotten more expensive over the years, though.
I have a beautiful pair of Frye sneakers but they didn't last well and the prices skyrocketed so I said nah to that brand![]()
Frye boots - Hell yes I would buy more but the quality is up there and my pair will last for years and years to come.
Clark boots - Maybe. I took a pair on a camping trip and the quality didn't really hold up. They are a nice inexpensive pair of nice boots for the workplace though.
Converse - These are my around the town fast on and off shoes. They are fine, last only a bit but get the job done.
Nike - My running shoes, fantastic but that is all they are used for.
The boots are really well made and I have had no issues with mine in the four plus years I have owned them.I have a beautiful pair of Frye sneakers but they didn't last well and the prices skyrocketed so I said nah to that brand
